We provide the code upon receipt of your home address, which we request both in our instructions and in a message when you book. Finally, the closing of the pool for reconstruction was and remains clearly noted in our listing, and the quote attributed to me

James is correct. We had a power outage on his arrival date which lasted most of the day, and which prevented the cleaners from doing much of their work. We were in contact with both our cleaners and with James about the delay before his arrival. He said he would change his plans a bit by going to dinner before arriving at the condo. When the power came back on at about 5 pm, our cleaners went back and did what they could to prepare the condo for his arrival in the short time available. I updated James, and thankfully the condo was ready for him when he and his family arrived after dinner. The cleaners did leave extra sheets drying in the dryer, which I knew and informed James about, which I thought was reasonable given the circumstances (we discourage our cleaners from taking our high quality sheets and towels off-premises so that we don't lose them). But it appears they dropped the ball on the fridge items and I have discussed that with them. Sometimes, there are factors--like unexpected power outages--that are beyond our control. But we are committed to doing our best to make every guest's experience a great one.
