Welcome to your Harbor Springs Retreat

This charming Harbor Cove Condo #18 is a two-bedroom unit with a loft, offering a comfortable and flexible layout for your Northern Michigan getaway.

On the lower level, you’ll find two guest bedrooms and a full bathroom. One bedroom features a king bed, while the second includes a twin-over-full bunk—perfect for families or groups.

The main level offers an open-concept living space with a full kitchen, dining area, and living room, along with a second full bathroom with a shower. Step out onto the walkout balcony and enjoy peaceful views of the surrounding nature preserve.

Upstairs, the open loft provides additional sleeping space with a full-size bed.

Harbor Cove is ideal for enjoying all four seasons. Within a short five-minute walk, you’ll have access to a private beach on Little Traverse Bay, along with a beach house, tennis courts, indoor and outdoor pools, a children’s play area, and scenic walking and snowshoeing trails.

You’re also conveniently located less than 20 minutes from downtown Harbor Springs and Petoskey, as well as popular destinations like Boyne Highlands and Nub’s Nob ski resorts, plus several top-rated golf courses.

Guests have access to the community center, which includes an indoor pool and hot tub available year-round. During the summer months, you can also enjoy the beach house, outdoor pool, and hot tub (typically open from Memorial Day through Labor Day).

Whether you’re here for the beach, the slopes, or simply to relax, this Harbor Springs retreat offers a comfortable and convenient place to stay.

Great Stay in Northern Michigan

We enjoyed our stay, loved the layout and the sleeping options. Clean and quiet and perfect for a quick ski vacation. Ski locker outside was a plus. Would like to come back in the summer and enjoy the beach area which seemed pretty great even in February!

This is owned by a large management company, not an individual which is the first red flag. We didn’t receive check in information until 5 minutes after check in, we arrived about 30 minutes early and were not granted access, we were traveling with our toddler too which makes it even more annoying that they wouldn’t accommodate a 30 min early check in. We rented another condo in harbor cove that weekend because we had a large group and we received all the check in information the day before and that stay went smoother. It was below zero temperatures when we stayed, and when asked for more blankets, they just said they didn’t have any…their bedding was thin as is… so we ended up buying our own blankets just to comfortable. The coffee machine was broken and the one they brought to replace was also broken…all around poor service and poor amenities. Don’t waste your money staying here.

Perfect location

Second stay even better

This place has a great layout, is clean, well kept and nicely appointed. They even had a new fridge put in since our stay two weeks ago. The layout of the condo is conducive for gathering and interacting.

Perfect little get-a-way!!

VERY nice accomodations! We loved it. Nice to come home and relax from the busyness of the day. We were in town for a family wedding. This was very close to the venue and we enjoyed the beach and Beach House also. Close to everything!

Family of 4 getaway

The condo was fantastic! It was incredibly comfortable, everyone slept great in the very cozy beds. There's plenty of room for everyone to have their own space, but the family areas had plenty of seating. Everyday we took a short 5-minute walk down to play/swim at the beach, which was never crowded. Easy trips to Charlevoix, and Mackinaw. So close to everything. The neighborhood at the condo was very quiet and peaceful. Terri was very responsive and helpful to inquiries.

You can walk to the community center for their pool and library or to the private beach and additional community center. Very close to Harbor Springs, Petoskey and the Tunnel of Trees! The pilot was out on the fireplace but they sent someone over quickly to get it going for us. The only thing I would have to complain about was that the main floor shower did not have a curtain. We messaged management about this and the maintenance man who came to do the fireplace said a different person was coming out to help with that but no one ever came. It was a short trip so it wasn't worth it to us to waste any more time trying to get someone to come out.

great communication but smells

The property was very tidy and communication with the management was quicky and easy. I wanted to like this property more, but the lower level where the main bedrooms are located smelled very strongly of mold or mildew. It truly penetrated the air and you could smell it immediately upon entering. Sadly, we had to leave early as we couldn't sleep in those conditions.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were unable to make it to our reserved weekend. We had to cancel at the last minute. Of course, the contract does not allow for cancellations at the last minute. We had no insurance. The owner was cold, ungracious, and unwielding, wouldn’t offer a credit for another time. Wouldn’t split the cost. Nothing. He told us he wouldn’t be able to rent the chalet for the weekend because our cancellation was so late. However, there was no snow so he wouldn’t have rented it anyway! Just an unkind and ungracious human.
