Drip Dry Up ist die obere Einheit eines charmanten Duplex-Hauses am Meer. Das im Jahr 2016 renovierte, aktualisierte Ferienhaus wurde zu einem der beliebtesten auf Folly. Die neutrale Farbpalette, der offene Grundriss und die Fülle an natürlichem Licht schafft eine nahtlose Verbindung zum Strand.

Die voll ausgestattete Küche verfügt über neue Edelstahlgeräte und einen atemberaubenden Meerblick. Genießen Sie eine Tasse Kaffee an der Frühstücksbar oder entspannen Sie im Wohnzimmer und sehen Sie Ihre Lieblingssendungen auf dem neuen 50-Zoll-HD-Fernseher. Das Badezimmer wurde ebenfalls mit einem neuen Waschtisch, einer Dusche sowie einer neuen Waschmaschine / Trockner renoviert.

Das Hauptschlafzimmer verfügt über ein Queensize-Bett, einen 40-Zoll-4-K-Fernseher und Fenstertüren, die zum Oceanfront-Deck führen. Das zweite Schlafzimmer definiert Etagenbetten neu, mit einer Königsmatratze unten und einer Königinmatratze oben. Jedes Schlafzimmer ist mit hochwertigen Matratzen ausgestattet, die für einen guten Schlaf sorgen. Im Wohnzimmer befindet sich ein neues Queensize-Schlafsofa.

Drip Dry Up was wonderful! Such a gorgeous view the pool was excellent! The pictures do a perfect representation of the space, it is quaint & cozy! The rocking chairs on the porch for morning coffee was the perfect way to start the day, especially watching the surfers. So many fun restaurants to visit, but loved Rita's! Folly is a fun beach, with a total laid back vibe!

Great Vacation Spot

We've stayed at "Drip-Dry Up" several times and it never disappoints. The pool is excellent and maintained at a comfortable chlorine level and always clean. The ocean views are wonderful and our family always has a wonderful stay.

Wonderful!

We loved Drip Dry Up!! Being right on the beach with a pool and an incredible view, how could we go wrong? The screened in porch was perfect for morning coffee and afternoon cocktails and the location was close enough to town foe activity but far enough away so it wasn’t too crowded. We loved every bit of it!

Drip Dry Up was the perfect beach house for our family vacation. The pool was nice for the kids to play in and it was wonderful that the house is steps away from the beach. We had a maintenance issue that was taking care of promptly. I would stay there again!

Perfect beachfront oasis with pool!

While this place has the charm of an older beach house, it has been updated and is a super comfortable two bedroom / one bath upstairs apartment. Enjoy the view and breeze of the beach and dining at the outdoor table from the screened in porch. There are beach chairs and toys, good wi-fi, and more. Note: for folks with mobility issues there are stairs with each coming and going so keep that in mind. We hope next time to rent both upstairs and downstairs for a larger family group. Highly recommend!

Peaceful and beautiful

This was the most relaxing trip our family has ever had to Folly. The beach was only a few steps (and not too many stairs) away. The pool was enjoyed immensely by the youngsters in the group. Our family occupied both the Up and Down units so we had the pool all to ourselves! We loved the screen porches and being away from the hustle and bustle of Center Street. The apartments are small spaces but provide everything you need, including laundry!

Just what we needed

This was the perfect place for the two of us. It would have even been comfortable if we had brought a couple of the grandkids or come with friends. The outdoor space and the heated pool were most enjoyable, although you couldn’t really see the beach from the outside chairs on the deck since they are below the dunes but still a great space and we enjoyed being out there. We especially enjoyed just rocking on the screened in porch which has a great view of the beach. Loved the queen over king bunk bed. Beds were comfortable but the pillows could use an upgrade. Communication with management was great and everyone was very nice. Would definitely stay here again.

Amazing location, wonderful pool!!!

Stay at drip dry folly upper unit was great! Location was perfect with a private beach. Heated pool was just excellent this time of year. The only suggestions we would have is cleanliness in a few areas. Couch is pretty worn, bedding stained and outdoor lounger cushions moldy. Would have loved a few beach chairs to use, some pool floats or boogie boards that weren’t cracked. This did not dampen the trip, it would have just enhanced it. Communication with management company was excellent and they were extremely responsive to a maintenance issue. Really was a beautiful property and the family had a blast! The screened in area was ideal!

Perfect and completely charming!

We LOVED drip dry UP. The listing wasn’t super clear that we were only getting the upstairs- or that we would share the large well maintained heated pool with the couple staying downstairs- but they were sweet and no one got in anyone’s way. The beds were cozy and comfortable- this isn’t a high end over the top place- it was perfect and cozy and felt cabin-ish but was well decorated and maintained. The upstairs screened porch was perfect with gorgeous views and the constant sounds of the ocean. Already planning to come back and will for sure stay here again! ♥️

The property was well described and was an incredible location, the proximity to the beach and the onsite pool were awesome. My major issue was with maintenance of the property. When we arrived the AC was not functional, and when traveling with a baby it was a huge issue for us. The HVAC repair company who came to help us was wonderful, but we couldn’t get the temp down below 80 for the first 12 hours. I was especially disappointed to learn the previous renters had also notified the management of HVAC issues and they had not been resolved for our arrival. My other major concern was bugs. When we checked in, there were ants in the kitchen and we found palmetto bugs and other insects all over the house throughout our stay. In the grass next to the pool there were multiple ant hills which limited our outside use - again especially when traveling with kids. Luckily, all of these issues can pretty easily be resolved and hopefully won’t persist for future guests.

Thank you for leaving your review! The HVAC unfortunately had not been disclosed by the previous guest, but as soon as we were made aware, the issue was resolved. Living in a tropical climate such as Charleston, we often have pests to contend with such as ants and palmetto bugs. These are a normal part of Charleston, but certainly annoying! All of our properties are treated on a quarterly basis for pests, and can be sprayed in the interim if reported.

The view was phenomenal. Directly on the beach with amazing sunrises. Great views from the screened in porch as well. The porch made a seemingly small place feel much larger & gave our family of four plenty of room for a weeks stay. The pool was quite warm which was perfect for a couple chilly days in the 50’s.

31st Anniversary

The location was excellent and the second floor screened porch was great to spend the day relaxing to the sounds of the ocean.
