We had a great stay at Tweetsie House for a summer family reunion. The bedroom scheme fit our group perfectly: 2 couples downstairs in the 2 king rooms; 2 singles in the 2 cute upstairs rooms; and 80 yo mom in the master on the main floor. Enjoyed the hot tub, comfy living room, eating out on the deck, and well-stocked kitchen. Host was helpful and communicative. Would stay here again.

House was as listed, clean and welcoming. Its a little hard to get to, but the Tweetsie House Signage was excellent! Only suggestions are more comfortable outdoor seating and more couch pillows for back support. Loved seeing the deer family that came to eat nightly. Very convenient location to both Boone and Blowing Rock. We would come back

The beautiful pictures of the Tweetsie House on the VRBO site were everything we found and more! Every room was spotless, cozy and welcoming for my family of 11. We enjoyed the hot tub, the mountain views and all the amenities the house had to offer. We spent 6 perfect days enjoying the nearby sites and of course Tweetsie RR where my 3 young grandchildren had a blast. I appreciate the attention to details the owners gave to make our stay exactly what we were looking for!

This was our second time staying here and both times were absolutely Wonderful! The location is great and close to everything you need. The whole place was very clean. The beds were very comfortable. The host was very helpful and quick to respond when issues came up. We will definitely be staying here again!

The property is located in middle of beautiful trees very high on a mountain. Very close to Boone but far enough away to feel like an escape from the ordinary! The inside of home is beautiful, tastefully decorated. Lots of room for personal space with fully furnished basement level, main level and balcony level. Hot tub was a huge hit! Kitchen provided everything needed. Grilled burger on deck for gang one night.Room for parking was adequate when others arrived simply staggering the vehicles without blocking other driveways. One note: placement of sign “TWEETSIE HOUSE” is misleading. Directs driver to turn too soon. Suggest placing sign on other side of driveway.We had a very nice, comfortable stay at Tweetsie House and recommend it to everyone!

Weekend Getaway

We stayed for an long weekend and overall, it was very nice. The kids really loved waking up one morning to having deer in the backyard! It is in a great location, within minutes to Boone!
