My family and I enjoyed the stay, location is beautiful. Not too far from the main village, close by grocery store only 3 minutes drive. Lakeview, over all nice place to stay. We loved the fireplace during the night time as well. If we go back to Lake Arrowhead, this will be our first choice of place to stay...

Blue Cabin

We really enjoyed everything. Plenty of firewood and a fun game room kept us all happy. The lake view is perfect with a cup of hot coffee in the morning.

Delightfully Cozy

Everything about this cabin was great! It's spacious, plenty of room for guest. The pool room and deck were a hit for both adults and kids! The view of the lake was breathtaking. We did a short hike, literally right next to the cabin. Barry was a great host, I'm so happy he had early check in, to make the most of our stay! He was friendly and so easy to reach. Check in was easy peasy. The cabin has it all. Thanks Barry for a nice warm friendly stay!

Spring break getaway

We had a family spring break weekend getaway and it was just that … a Getaway ! The cabin is so spacious warm feeling when you walk in and the view from the deck and bedroom up stairs facing the lake is Beautiful. Within our family we have a family member who is in a wheelchair chair and Barry was so attentive make sure everything ran smoothly providing accessories if needed and not mention he even put ramps to access into the cabin . The kids as well as my self and family members enjoyed the game room , the chimney were a bonus . It kept the living room and kitchen warm. The one and only thing that would be good to know ahead time is the big master bedroom downstairs gets really really cold. Luckily the second bedroom is nice stays cozy and warm . The kitchen was fully stocked and nice to have that PURE water dispenser because we almost ran out of our water bottles that we brought. The campgrounds behind the cabin was enjoyable for some snow ball fights and our two fur dogs enjoyed the dog park as well. It’s nice to know incase emergency the hospital is walking distance literally across the street. We greatly appreciate the generosity when we were informed that we can stay a bit longer before our check out time as well. I def have this place bookmarked for the future ! Thanks again for allowing us to stay at your cabin until next time !

Relaxing Blue Cabin Retreat

We had a wonderful time at the blue cabin with our fur babies. It was quiet and relaxing. We enjoyed exploring nearby trails, dining and the lake arrowhead queen boat tour in town, playing games and grilling on the back deck watching the beautiful sunsets. If we come back to Lake Arrowhead we would definitely stay again.

Good cabin. Good value.

Cute cabin. Near the lake. Has a nice view and relaxing patio. Owner had to fix an ant problem, but it was resolved quickly. Ants are an issue at a lake Arrowhead in the summers.

Family Reunion

Our family very much enjoyed our time in Lake Arrowhead. This property is large with plenty of room to spread out for different ages. The parking was convenient, the ease of access for the elderly was appreciated. The younger members enjoyed the pool table. We all took advantage of the deck and the beautiful view.

Home with all the basics

Checking in was straight forward and the home is what was expected. Plenty of space and beds for all. We stayed for 2-nights over the holiday weekend and it worked fine. Pros: TV, pool table, back patio with lake view. Washer and dryer too.

White Christmas in Arrowhead

We had a great Family trip to Lake Arrowhead. The property was conveniently located next to a snow plowed road that made access very easy. It was located about 1 mile from a convenience store and about 3 miles from the Village. The house itself was in good shape and had ample space for our whole family in the 4 bedrooms.

Accommodating home owner

The owner was extremely accommodating, super easy to communicate with, dog-friendly, and the property did have a view of the lake. They kindly provided board games, a billiard table, darts, DVDs, and a deck where we could sit and watch the lake and trees. Our only criticism was that the property could use some sprucing up and better lighting in the great-room. I'd stay there again.

Great Dog-Friendly Cabin!

We really enjoyed Barry's cabin on the hill! The cabin itself is cozy and spacious - plenty of room for 8-10 people if needed. The kids enjoyed the game room and the adults enjoyed the back deck. It doesn't get much more relaxing that sipping a glass a wine on the back deck while watching the hawks soar above the lake. The location is incredible, especially if you have a dog! It is about a 10 min walk down to the beach and there is a dog-friendly park literally on the lakeshore! It is really beautiful and never seemed to great crowded. There is also a campground located just behind the cabin which leads to a 1.7 mile out-and-back hiking trail (3W12). All great areas for you and your pup to explore, and hike will definitely get your blood pumping on the way back up. Although there is a local hospital across the street, the area still feels secluded and peaceful - especially at night. Everything you could conceivable need is within a short drive (markets, restaurants, beaches, etc.) and although we didn't make it to any of the beach clubs, those are included in the rental too. WiFi was strong and reliable at all times (an important proviso for teenagers these days). Barry was very responsive and helpful. All of this lead to a great summer getaway!
