Stay at 2616 Marg Lane, Trafalgar Village

Property did not match description in our opinion. Had hot water issues & outdoor furniture was unusable due to dirt & mildew. Host was supposed to change outdoor furniture but did not happen during our stay, nor was fix of hot water issue completed. Home cleanliness standards were also undesirable including bedding & heating/cooling ducts. When issues were brought up, host offered us to leave (we had already done much needed cleaning). Checked out early & was refunded for duration of our contract. Home definitely needs TLC.

Peaceful and Comfortable

We come to Flordia every year for the month of February. We love the Trafalgar Village, we try to get a house there every year. This particular house we have stayed in 3 times. Booking was easy, the owner/manager is very nice to work with, the house is nice and spacious so you don't feel like you're cramped . The pool and hot tub is extremely cozy and since to neighboring house are not so close it gives you a little more privacy. Great Place

Ok place to sleep but not for relaxing

We stayed here for two days. Luckily for the most part we just needed to sleep there. This was our second rental on this vacation and compared to the first it was not a pleasant experience. There was a cockroach which I understand it is the south but it was not fun to find.The towels a bedding were worn and looked and felt old.The bathroom in the main floor the toilet leaked.

Spacious house

A group of 12 (kids and adults). Spacious house, good backyard. We had the wrong entry code at check-in but the host responded in a few minutes.Our only issue, we forgot a tablet. The host found it but nobody is responding to our request to return/mail the tablet to us. Don't forget anything in the house. -:)

Okay stay

First off was given wrong code to get into house. Arrived at house around 7pm and stood outside for about 30 min before reaching property manager to get correct door code. Then, since there was 9 of us we needed two cars-wasn’t told they needed everyone’s name staying in house. Even after updating manager with the names of everyone, my son got hassled every time he went through the gate to get to the house.

Lovely Home

The home was very nice and organized. The Owner was super communicative and when we had no hot water they sent someone the next day to make sure it was repaired. Unfortunately not all room had cable tv.

The house

The house was nice but got very hit upstair since we couldn’t lower the AC past a certain temp. Security was easy and nice one day and hard the next with some rude people. It also don’t tell you in the listing that you need to bring you own stuff. Such as toilet paper as this is a “self sufficient” house.

Over all nice place

Overall this place was nice. Only thing is a mop and bucket would have been nice to mop up water from kids running in and out from pool. Had an issue with hot water but owner took care of it quickly. Needs more wash cloths and towels. Would rent again.

Not clean!

We have several pictures to show the condition of the home. It was embarrassing for us to host our guests who came from California and Germany for the 10 day visit. The house was big enough for our group BUT… my list of cleanliness issues is LONG! We would like to have our cleaning deposit refunded, since we had to clean upon arrival ourselves and the filth we kept finding around the home and under the beds, on tops of surfaces was unbelievable!! I don’t know who the property manager is for this home or what kind of cleaning crew they have, but I’d make some changes in those areas ASAP. A response to our complaints would be appreciated and like I said, we request a full cleaning deposit due to the condition of the home. Unacceptable condition for paying over $3600! I’ll never book this place again, or use, or endorse Vrbo to anyone if we don’t get a refund! That’s the least you can do!! Our overall communication with the owner could have been WAY better too. I’ve written our impressions of the home on Saturday but again (as in previous attempts), he has not responded. Unsatisfied renter!!

Worst house experience ever

We never had a house in such a bad condition. That the air condition hasn‘t worked when we arrived can happen and after some discussion with the owner or the manager it was fixed at midnight. But the house was really dirty and everything looked outdated and would need renovation. We don‘t how 12 people should eat and cook there. There wouldn‘t be enough stuff there. The pool area would need renovation too and the pool was very small. It looks much bigger on the pictures. But one of the worst things was the traffic noise, because the house is located right next to the Poinciana Blvd. The area was nice but that house was really a mistake. We got blinded by the pictures which looked great but are far away from reality. We cannot understand the good reviews. Don‘t make the same mistake and rent the house. There are really better and cheaper houses available. It was the worst and the most expensive house we have ever rent. (By the way it was our 12th time in Orlando.)

A great gem of a place

As previous reviews have listed it is close to a major road but not close enough that it was an impediment to any of those staying. House is actually more roomy than pictures make it appear, easily housed 8 adults, if you have more than that you'll have to get snuggly with someone but there was plenty of space to sleep/ lounge. There were a couple of questions I had for host and they replied very promptly, check in and check out process was super easy and self supported. If you do shopping before please be aware the supplies for things like paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags ect are only a starter pack and you'll need to get to the store if you're staying for more than a couple days. A great place to crash at the end of the day and it really felt like a home!

Highly Recommend

This house is located about 20 minutes from Disney, away from all the traffic created by the tourist area. Our host, Joe, was great. He communicated with us prior to our arrival as well as during our stay. He helped us work through an issue to our satisfaction. House is spacious with plenty of bedrooms meeting our family of 9. Very quiet neighborhood. I would highly recommend this host and house without hesitation. We enjoyed our stay and would consider it again when we return in the future.

A perfect week

The house we rented was perfect for our trip. We do this every year. We golf everyday then stop someplace for dinner and return home to relax for the next day. The weather was great and we used the heated pool and spa everyday. We had everything we needed in the house. This house is great for familys going to the park but don't want to stay in the busy areas. It's a very quiet neighborhood. I would stay here again if we had the same size party.
