The directions were easy to read, and the road to the cove was smooth. The shelter was a great addition as a hangout spot for our family. The outhouse was clean, the property was easy to navigate as there are small walk ways, and the spring made it super easy to collect and filter drinking water. We would love to visit again someday.

We were really impressed by how large the shed was on the property. This came in handy with all the rain that came in during our stay. Beautiful property and great location. We’ll be back.

We had a blast! This is an ideal location for camping with the kids and a dog. The campsite was easy enough to find and the Adirondack shelter is a game changer. The site layout is pretty great - natural spring water pond, shelter for the fire wood and campers if needed and an outhouse to make things easy. We picked a great time of year to come out.

Amazing Location

I just camped here over the weekend with my husband, dogs, and friends and had an absolute blast! The location is amazing and private. Gorgeous scenery and clean campsite. Will come back here again for sure!

Amazing Place

This was our second time camping here!! We love this place, and will be back again! If you like seclusion you will have it here. Everyone you meet is so friendly in this town. Go see the Zoo Art Place we love the outdoor art for gardens and yards!

Amazing get away!

We enjoyed our short get away at the Cove! The property was just as advertised, and was a great alternative to a camp ground! It was just us! So quiet and we loved hiking around the property with our dogs! The kids loved running around and listening to the frogs. If you love camping, this is a must place to visit! We will definitely be back!

Relaxing weekend

Enjoyed the property, secluded, nice surroundings, well kept, with a great location close to Blue Ridge. Water directly from the springs was a treat. Wonderful spot to camp and or use as a base camp exploring the area. Stopped at Mr Gibbs to get firewood, 30 mins later he delivered it right to site. Owner was very responsive to inquiries I had pre-visit. Looking forward to booking again.

Incredible camping experience

Best tent camping I have experienced in the area. Project Chimp hike was so close to the campsite and I would highly recommend for a hiking experience you won’t have anywhere else. Natural mineral water at the site was so cool and refreshing. Our dogs loved running free out there. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful Property!

I loved the property and would stay again. The little pond was perfect to cool down in, but all the trees kept everything shady and cool in the summer heat. Plenty of tent space and the structure made a good kitchen spot. All the trees were great hammock spaces.It was a good walk or short drive from the river with community access between homes. The water was pretty fast paced so we didn't do much more than put our feet in.

Amazing stay! It was exactly what we were hoping for. Somewhere quiet we could enjoy with our dogs without worrying about them running up on other people. A few things I had wondered about but didn’t see explicitly mentioned- the land is in beautiful condition and I was amazed to see virtually no poison ivy! A huge relief to not stress about brushing up on anything. Also I wasn’t sure whether the mosquitos would be an issue but ultimately very very few. I did not apply bug spray at any point and we slept in the open. Finally I wasn’t sure what the cell service would be like. I have Verizon and my signal was limited but consistent. My husband has T-mobile and did not get signal at the camp site. We will definitely be back.

My spot away from home

I absolutely love this secluded spot. It's my 4th or 5th time there. Dog heaven. The shelter is amazing. I haven't put up the tent once. Love it.

4th of July week

We stayed at the Cove in July. The rain in the forcast nearly kept us home, but luckily we decided to go despite the weather. The boys loved playing in the creek, and when it rained we stayed happy and dry in the shelter, and my boys even invented a new card game. We took day trips to raft and to explore the area. All in all we had a great week relaxing and making memories.

Perfect Off the grid without being in the boondocks

Property is easy to get to. George was easy to communicate with. The property was very tidy and the spring was perfect. Nice area to to hike around with the puppy. Wanted a camping area that we could let our lab play without worring about cars or other people. Shelter would be perfect if a storm were to have blown in. Shelter was well equipped with some essentials. Will be back again soon and often.

Best tent camping in North GA!

I stumbled across The Cove when trying to find a campsite within a certain distance from home for the week my daughter went on spring break and nearly all local campground sites were booked for the week. The Cove was perfect for her first camping trip and I am so glad I found it! Super secluded - didn’t have to worry about bothering neighbors, especially with our two dogs. The ponds/streams were such a nice touch and unique compared to other private campsites. I didn’t have to reach out to the owner with any issues, but he did message me as soon as the booking went through with details! We had so much fun and are considering going back next year!
