Great location with a few setbacks
We loved the location—it was truly ideal for exploring Los Cabos. However, we did encounter a few issues during our two-week stay that are worth noting. The loveseat in the unit was broken, and unfortunately, the pool closest to our room was closed for renovations the entire time. Additionally, there was a wasp nest on our balcony. At first, it didn’t seem like a big deal, but it ultimately kept us from enjoying the outdoor space. One safety concern to be aware of—especially for families with young children—is the low railings in the exterior and on the balcony. Being on the top floor, the railing height (around 3 feet) felt a bit precarious, so extra caution is advised.Another downside was the pool area losing sunlight early in the day due to the building’s orientation. Once the sun moved to the other side (around 2PM in march) it became way too chilly to swim. Also, the pool rules were difficult with children including being quiet, no music, no splashing, no throwing water toys, etc. My husband is an electrician and noted that the hot tub wiring was dangerous. On positive side, the property was well-maintained and the security team was excellent—very attentive and professional. The location itself was phenomenal, with easy access to the beach. I highly recommend getting day passes to one of the all-inclusive resorts nearby. The food, activities, and overall experience were well worth it and your kids can be as loud as they want in the pool.
