Inmitten eines 2 Hektar großen Parks empfängt diese wunderschöne, nach Süden ausgerichtete Longère aus Steinen des 19. Jahrhunderts mit einem privaten, auf 28 ° beheizten Pool, der ausschließlich für Urlauber reserviert ist, Menschen, die Natur und Ruhe lieben.

Großes Volumen für dieses Haus von 250 m2 im Erdgeschoss einer großen Küche mit angrenzender kleiner Terrasse, offen zu einem Wohn- / Esszimmer von 105 m2, ein geräumiges Schlafzimmer mit neuen Betten von guter Qualität 160 cm angrenzend an ein großes Ankleidezimmer, ein Badezimmer mit ebenerdiger Dusche und separatem WC.

Im Obergeschoss befindet sich ein Flur- / Wohnzimmer mit Sofas, in dem zwei Schlafzimmer mit 140 cm breiten Betten und ein angrenzendes Badezimmer untergebracht sind.

Draußen befindet sich ein auf 28 ° beheizter Pool von 10 mx 5 m, der an ein kleines Überlaufbecken von ca. 30 cm Tiefe angrenzt und für kleine Kinder sehr beliebt ist.

Zu Ihrer Verfügung, Liegestühle mit Kissen, Gartenmöbel auf jeder Terrasse und Schwimmbad, Tischtennisplatte, Grill.

Wonderful villa

The villa is beautiful and very thoughtful! Plenty of space and lots to do, our children well and husband loved the pool table and darts! They had a league during the week. The kitchen has everything you need and more, great barbecue area. The pool was fantastic! It was all so good we are returning next year!

Fabulous and worth the wait

Having booked this property in 2019 we finally got to holiday here in July 2022 due to covid restrictions and it was certainly worth the wait. We were welcomed by our very friendly hosts and shown around the house and gardens. Everything was perfect and the house is so well equipped, we didn’t need half the things we brought. Beds were comfortable and the space is huge. We were blessed with amazing weather and the swimming pool has to be the highlight of our stay. The house remained nice and cool and nights were comfortable for sleeping. Lovely showers. The village is a very easy and quick bike ride for a small supermarket and lovely boulangerie and butchers. We didn’t visit the hotel restaurant as opening times are limited and we didn’t get round to booking and the cafe by the lake only opened 2 days before we left. There is a well stocked Intermarche about 9km away which also has fuel. We explored the area by car and bike, getting as far as Orador-sur-Glane (well worth going) and Sarlat, access to the A20 is very easy I would definitely recommend staying here, we had a wonderful relaxing time and the house and gardens are just beautiful. The hosts have put a lot of careful thought and love into making this one of the nicest places we have stayed at

Meuzac - July 2022

We have just returned after a week stay at this property situated just outside the village of Meuzac. We loved the location. It’s on the edge of the small, quiet village which is surrounded by lovely countryside of which the accommodation is in the middle of. The village is a short walk away and has a boulangerie and small supermarket. The house itself is very private and with a very large and open garden with more space than you could wish for! The property is very impressive, large and very attractive. The inside is extremely spacious and also attractive albeit slightly aged and rustic. The decor is in good order and everything seems in pretty good condition. There is also plentiful equipment for your stay, it is very well appointed. The stand out area is the pool area, we loved it and this made our stay. The pool is a good size and it’s very attractive. You get the sun all day long and we had some great days by the pool. Cleanliness is where the property was let down. There were cobwebs over the walls, dead flies everywhere, bathroom mirror had toothpaste splatter over it, the kitchen worktop had crumbs over it and the kitchen worktops and cupboards felt a bit sticky. Communication with the owner was good, and was all in French, which was no problem. I had a slight issue with the fact that the property was advertised as having linen provided, although a few days before the holiday started, I was asked to pay 39 euros to have linen provided for the three beds which I queried, but I was told that bed linen was only available if paid for it to be provided. We were welcomed to the property by a lovely lady called Nanou. She doesn’t speak a single word of English, so I had to rely on my GCSE French from 26 years ago for communication, which was a struggle. As I say, Nanou was lovely, but I wasn’t banking on seeing her for 4 or 5 days of the 7 we were there. All were impromptu visits and caught us unaware. A couple of the visits I didn’t mind, which included her coming to collect her mobile phone which she left behind and one where she came with the plumber to look at a broken toilet flush, but we weren’t ever warned. But then there were other visits such as one where she just appeared and wondered in to the garage/barn attached to the property and one where she appeared at the house to ask when we were leaving. It just felt a bit intrusive and a warning would have been nice. Lovely place, sadly i’m not sure I would return

Magical, calming tranquil place! Excellent

Wonderful property, private, fantastic views, safe and secure. Excellent pool with lots of high quality comfortable loungers and chair areas, clean modern tiles around the pool area, pool heated up to 28 degrees, lights for nighttime swimming. Extras like inflatables for pool, darts, table tennis available. Amazing location, lots of wildlife, butterflies, moths, frogs, hawks, bats, lizards and much more, clean air and quiet unspoilt local area. Local village has bakery’s, butcher, local convenience shop. Larger supermarkets only 15 minutes by car. Kitchen well equipped, plenty of gadgets good cooker, fridge freezer, dishwasher, everything is well thought for guests. Wonderful friendly welcome on arrival to show us around and give us keys, excellent! Even though we do not speak much french we understand the lovely lady and gentlemen showing us around, towels changed during stay and the pool man came to clean and check the pool, both times the care team were non intrusive polite and very friendly. The property was charming inside, clean and comfortable, beds made up for our arrival with fresh linen, bottle of wine, juice, water for us and some other thoughtful items like, sugar, salt, pepper, toilet rolls etc. Fans provided in the bedrooms. Inside some games, books, tv with fire stick. Plenty of different areas to sit and larger party’s to have there own individual space. Only areas for improvement would be a more comfortable sofa in the kitchen as found quite firm, those with smaller toddlers would need to be aware of spiral stairs to mezzanine area, probably not suitable plus felt slightly wobbly. Would rebook here having said this, wonderful magical place, easy handover to the lovely lady when leaving.

Des vacances magnifiques

Nous avons passé deux semaines merveilleuses ici. C'est dommage que le temps n'ait pas coopéré et que nous n'ayons pas pu utiliser la belle piscine plus souvent. La maison est très grande et bien meublée. Rien ne manque. Un grand merci à la très sympathique Nanou, qui nous a accueillis et soutenus très discrètement pendant nos vacances. Nous pouvons vraiment recommander cette belle maison de vacances avec son énorme terrain, qui est située à la limite du village dans un endroit calme. Nous aimerions beaucoup passer à nouveau nos vacances ici un jour.

Semaine parfaite!

Nous avons été très bien accueillis par Nanou. La maison est très belle et très fonctionnelle avec un spacieux espace à vivre. Nous avons également bien profité de la piscine chauffée et du jardin! Je recommande cette maison pour des vacances en famille.

Great space for a large family

We had a fantastic week in Meuzac. The house is very well equipped and provided space for all of us. Even when it got too got to use the pool, the house remained pleasantly cool. The children loved the dart board and table tennis table.

Très beau gite

Nous avons loué le gîte pour deux semaines en juillet. Très beau temps et nuits fraîches ce qui permet de bien dormir. Le gîte correspond bien à l annonce. Très belle demeure, très bien meublée. Cuisine super équipée, rien ne manque. Il y a un grand terrain donc nous étions au calme. Nous avons apprécié les terrasses de chaque côté qui permettent de profiter du beau temps ou de l ombre si besoin. Très belle piscine, bon mobilier d extérieur. Les enfants ont également apprécié les matelas pneumatiques ou jeux de raquette, table de ping-pong, jeu de fléchettes, badminton... Propriétaires très sympathiques qui cherchent vraiment à ce que nous passions un bon séjour. Accueil aussi très sympa sur place. Activités pratiquées : Piscine, visite de Lascaux (À 1h10), lac de saint pardoux à 45 min avec accrobranche, location de vélos...visite de Ségur le Château (a 30 min), saint Yrieix sur Perche (a 30 min avec qq activités organisées pour les enfants), visite du haras national de pompadour à 30 min.

Farmhouse gite, Meuzac

Stayed at this property for one week with our daughter, her husband and 2 year old granddaughter. Lovely property in beautiful grounds and very well maintained. Fortunately had amazing weather for mid September so the swimming pool was very much appreciated......plus a little pool for toddlers! The was very equipped with really good facilities for s toddler.....travel cot, high chair, changing station.....all clean and in very good condition. The surrounding is very quiet especially as we were just out of season. A lovely property, would very highly recommend!

Rust en Privacy

De woning is op een paar honder meter van Meuzak en zeer zeer rustig, je hoort eigenlijk letterlijk niets! De woning en de grote tuin bieden ook veel privacy door de ligging en begroeing! Het zwembad was een groot succes voor onze kinderen, en er zijn voldoende parasollen om schaduw te bieden. De woning was netjes en zeer ruim. Als er iets was werdt dat netjes opgelost door Daniel en Nanou. Spreken geen andere talen dan Frans maar zeker heel erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Houdt wel rekening met de natuur dus als het donker wordt ramen dicht voor vliegende vriendjes en kleine kruipers. In het dropje is niet heel veel te doen maar in de omgeving zijn zeker mooie plekjes te vinden! We hebben een fijne relaxte vakantie gehad!

Fabulous Stay

Despite the heatwave (39 degrees 4 days straight!) we had a fabulous time at the house. We were two couples with two small babies and the house was perfect for us - there was a huge amount of space, it was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was really well equipped with everything you could possibly need and there were two huge TVs with 100s of channels. we absolutely loved the pool area - even in the heat it was cool enough under the parasols - and there was a tiny little baby pool as well perfect for the kids. The pool was really clean and a lovely temperature. The house is 10 minute walk from Meuzac where there's a little bar and shop. We ate twice at L'Escala Dau Lemosi which is a 5 minute drive away and it was excellent and fantastic value. There's two large supermarkets within 20 minute drive. We'd love to stay at the house again and recommend it to everyone.

The initial impression of the property was WOW! Met on a lovely sunny afternoon by our host and Nanou we were shown the property. The pool was at its best in June with all the roses out, very relaxing with very good quality seating, towels etc. Someone, Nadyne I suspect, has obviously enjoyed designing and furnishing this house. It is very tasteful. The kitchen was very well provided and there is an excellent BBQ area. The location is great ideal for cycling, walking and freshwater swimming in local lakes. . An excellent Boulanger, with pain au chocolat to die for, is within walking distance. An excellent local restaurant is again within walking distance. A lovely place to sit on the terrace overlooking the lake and enjoy the sunset. Further afield we enjoyed Eymoutier, Uzerche and Lake Vassiviere. A visit to Oradour-sur-Glane was unmissable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would thoroughly recommend this property and our considerate and helpful hostess.

Great villa, great weather, great holiday!

We had an amazing time and the villa was superb! 4 Adults travelling with 1 toddler and 1 baby - who were both enjoying their first trips abroad - and we couldn't really have asked for much more. The pool was great, the villa was massive, and the weather was scorching (apart from Friday). We spent most days soaking up the sun and cooling off in the pool, but managed 2 trips out, to Limoges (north) and Souillac (south), to wonder the streets and experience the markets. The only slight downer was that we were just out of season, and therefore the local shops in Meuzac were not open (butchers/bakery); however a short drive to Magnac Bourg InterMarche (10 mins) provided everything we needed. Nanou greeted us when we arrived and we were made to feel very welcome indeed (with a lovely bottle of fizz in the fridge). Overall we have a fantastic time, and would highly recommend this villa to everyone.
