Es verfügt über neue Holzschlafzimmermöbel, neue Wohnzimmermöbel, zwei neue Kingsize-Matratzensets und ein neues Queensize-Matratzenset, neue Fußböden in Schlafzimmern und Badezimmern, neue Flachbildfernseher in jedem Schlafzimmer und Wohnzimmer, neue Granitoberflächen, neue rostfreie Stahlgeräte und ein neuer 7-Personen-Whirlpool. Die Kabine verfügt über Xfinity-Kabelfernsehen und Highspeed-WLAN. Jede Ebene verfügt über ein Schlafzimmer und ein Badezimmer. Die untere Ebene verfügt über ein Familienzimmer mit Schlafsofa, Queen-Schlafzimmer, Billardtisch und Badezimmer. Von beiden Decks aus hat man einen unglaublichen Blick auf die Berge. Der Eingang von Metcalf Bottoms zum Great Smoky Mountain National Park ist nur drei Kilometer entfernt. Wanderwege und Fliegenfischen sind nur drei Kilometer entfernt. Die Hütte ist über gut ausgebaute, asphaltierte Straßen leicht zu erreichen und verfügt über zahlreiche private Offroad-Parkplätze. Sie werden diese ruhige, bewaldete Berghütte mit wenig Verkehr und Privatsphäre gegenüber benachbarten Hütten genießen.

Bears and views

We had a great time at this house! House was clean and a great size for our family. Bears came onto the porch, which was a new and fascinating experience for us. We enjoyed several hikes and other activities around the area. The drive was a little difficult for our minivan, but it worked. Thanks for the great vacation!!

Peaceful

The stay was absolutely peaceful! It was very clean and welcoming. If I could have changed anything on out trip it would be that we stayed longer and enjoyed all the house had to offer.

Beautiful cabin

The views from this house are absolutely amazing. It was clean and well organized and had a kitchen that had good cookware in it. Loved having the fire pit outside to sit around in the evening. We even seen a few bears while there.

Great Stay at Smoky Dreams Cabin

We and our friends (3 couples all 60+) had a great stay at the Smoky Dreams cabin. Everything was exactly as described on the VRBO listing and the owner was very easy to communicate with and very accommodating. The location is terrific - very easy access to the national park at the Metcalf Bottoms area and away from the chaos of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Quiet and peaceful but with a number of restaurants also close by and in Townsend. Highlight was one morning a mama bear sent her 5 very young cubs up a tree just off the deck while she went and foraged for food. We spent a good chunk of that morning sitting on the deck just watching those little cubs climb and play between their naps in the tree. Left eventually but had another bear come by the cabin later that day after we returned. Then the next day when we were driving back to the cabin late in the afternoon what I am pretty sure was the same mama bear was in the neighbor's small fruit tree right next to the road just opposite the driveway. Watched her munch on fruit for a bit (as did the car behind us) and then she jumped down and summoned all those cubs down from a larger tree right by that other house and left into the forest.

Beautiful view

The cabin was perfect for our family getaway. The layout allowed the children, parents, and in-laws all to have their own floor of the house (with full bath!). The view was stunning. The kids loved the pool table and hot tub. Deb was very communicative and responsive to any questions we had while we were there. Would highly recommend!

Breathtaking

The actual view is so much better than the pictures. We saw wild turkeys,rabbits,chipmunks,squirrels and of course 2 bears. The location is perfect. You are close to everything . The decks are a wonderful hang out spot. Hot was great.

Good Place With A Great View

The house and view was top notch. The experience was very nice except for a few things that spoiled it. All of the bathroom towels smelled like cigarette smoke. It was very unpleasant and unexpected. And the hot tub was a terrible experience, the water was murky and had a disgusting smell, and the jets did not work very well. It felt like you were in dirty bath water. A shower afterwards was needed as your skin became very itchy. And you then had to use the stinky towels to dry off after the shower. It definitely was not the luxury experience that reflected on the price of the place after all of the fees. I would not stay there again.

We absolutely loved our stay at Smokey Dreams and will definitely be back. It’s location is so beautiful and peaceful and we saw lots of bears, which was a bonus! Very clean, and well supplied, with wonderful amenities.

Overall A Great Experience

Property owner was great to deal with. She gave us directions as there is literally a road sign that says not to follow GPS. There was a bear in the driveway on our last day which was cool! Super nice cabin that’s fully stocked with your linens, towels and kitchen needs. You can hear everything on the different floors as it’s not well insulated. It didn’t bother us; our family just all retires/ wakes up at different times and there was no way to really move around quietly, lol. Beautiful view. Roads can be a little steep & windy so make sure you are coming in a vehicle that can take hills. We’ve stayed in a lot of cabins and this one was a lot cleaner than any other one we’ve stayed in minus the dirty diaper in the bathroom trash but that’s an easy oversight. The main floor shower smells a little strange but I think it’s just the difference in water. The tub is a little unlevel so I kept sliding to one side while trying to relax, haha… we would definitely stay again.

Perfect cabin for couples getaway. Everyone had their own space with comfortable common areas. Attention needed to a few things: overall cleanliness and maintenance items. The views were awesome and the location was great.

Wonderful cabin

The cabin was awesome and had everything we needed. The view was amazing, roads to the cabin are paved and there was plenty of space so you don’t feel crowded. Water pressure was good. Grill worked well and the propane was provided. Beds were comfortable. They even had a crib that could be assembled and a foldable highchair. We loved it and would definitely rent this cabin again if the opportunity arises.

Amazing view, great communication with host

We just returned from our weekend stay at this cabin and we were so sad to leave. The property is awesome, this pictures honestly don't do it justice and the views were AMAZING. We did have a little problem with the hot tub upon arrival but we easily got in contact with the host and they promptly fixed our issue. We can't wait to come back for a longer stay next time!
