Perfection!

House was beautiful, clean, well stocked, and perfect location. The walk to the beach was easy especially for my 73 yr old father who has difficulty walking. The location was perfect and close to everything. Backyard was amazing! Hosts were easy to contact and responded quickly. Would definitely stay here again!

Our favorite home

The home is perfect. Very clean and well stocked with anything you would need. Conveniently located on the street across from the beach, very short walk to the beach. A nice pool located in a beautiful backyard with a pavilion to offer shade from sun. Property owner easy to contact and answered a question immediately. Perfect for family beach vacation

Awesome vacation!

My family had a great vacation. This was our second vacation at the house, we had previously stayed here back in 2019. The location is great- just a short walk across the street to the beach. The kids loved the pool and ice cream down the street. We had a great adventure on a wild horse tour! House is well maintained and a great family option.

Great week at the outer banks even though the red no swimming flags were up.

The property is right across the street from the beach. The back yard is very attractive. We spent a lot of time out around the pool. It Is also close to grocery stores, restaurants and most important ice cream shops!! We had a great week.

We’re sorry you were disappointed in the size of the closet accessible to you in the master bedroom. Most guests seemed to think the large 6 drawer chest of drawers and many hooks were more than adequate for a 7-day stay. In 10 years of renting the lack of closet space in the master bedroom has never been mentioned.The 3 star rating seems a little harsh if you had no other complaints. Wonderful home and hosts!

The home was wonderful, has everything you need, direct access and short walk to the beach, beautiful pool and outdoor area. Just bring your clothes and food. The items this host provides is amazing. She is great to work with and goes above and beyond. The property is beautiful, WiFi worked great, we absolutely loved everything about it. Beautiful House, Great Location, Well Equipped

We stayed at this beautiful home for a first time trip to the Outer Banks with our children, their significant others and our new granddaughter. The house was perfectly located directly across from the beach. The backyard was huge, loaded with native plants and cool statues, as well as a pool and plenty of seating. Plenty of room to cook, socialize and hang out, while enjoying great views.

Could not ask for more! House was just perfect just as owner described it to be. Made so many cherished memories at this home on vacation with my family. It was out first trip there wont be our last. Clean, Lots of Amenities, Wonderful Pool Area

My number one concern is always cleanliness! I was comfortable here the second I walked in. Kitchen well equipped with everything you need, bathrooms spotless, lots of extra linens , and the beautiful decore made this house cozy and family friendly. Just across the street from the beach and a beautiful pool and hot tub in large back yard made this home perfect for out group of twelve that ranged from 8 years old to 60!

Fantastic week at the beach!

My family had a great week! The property was perfect and the kids loved the pool. Great kitchen and family room with plenty of space for all. The garden and gazebo area was beautiful and relaxing. Great beach access just across the street. We rented a cabana and beach chairs for the week, as well as did two sessions of surf lessons with Farmdog Surf School ; and enjoyed some sweets at Booty Treats Ice Cream (both just a short walk down the street). A wonderful vacation house! Thanks to Carole and her family for everything!

Beautiful home! Can’t wait to return!

My family and I loved this home!! It was extremely comfortable for 8 adults and two toddlers. The backyard was breathtaking and so much fun with the pool, grills, hammock, etc. The outdoor shower was beautiful! The house was in a great location right across the street from the beach, around restaurants, etc. The house was also very clean!! Carole was always very quick to answer my questions which was appreciated. We can’t wait to return again next year!

Great Place | Vacation Your Way

The house is in the heart of OBX. Loved the pool area and having the beach across the street. Appreciated the welcome pack and the information with things to do, which was perfect for our family. On day 1 we loaded up the week with activities for the kids. Evenings by the pool cooking out complemented by waking to watch the sunrise made for a great vacation. Heated outdoor shower is a plus and the nice outdoor and pool lighting made everything usable after sunset. Overall, great location, property as advertised, and good communication. Recommended.

Beautiful Home, Perfect Location, Amazing Vacation

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful home. The location was perfect for our family. The beach access is right across the street and there is a cross walk in front of the house. The house is in walking distance to many restaurants, shops and attractions. You have beautiful ocean views from the top floor (main living space) and the backyard is amazing! You can tell a lot of care has gone into decorating and making sure everything in the home is comfortable and welcoming. The owner is very responsive and helpful. We are so grateful we found this perfect home for our family vacation. Thank you!

Pending Deposit Return

It’s been 2 weeks since we left the OBX and I’m still pending the return of my deposit for this rental. I’m not sure if this is a VRBO issue or an owner issue, but the issue is not resolved. I’m going to continue to follow up. The owner said we left the house in great shape and we’d be getting the full deposit back. I wanted to leave a review after this was settled, but I only have 14 days to leave a review. So 3 stars since this isn’t resolved. The lease said the deposit would be returned within 7 days. The property itself was very nice. The pool and pool area are great hangout areas. The first floor is great for the pool (bathroom & extra fridge). Beach access is right across the street (ton of stairs to get on/off the beach, but easy access). Bedrooms are a good size . The third floor was a very good size and solid views for a house one street off the beach.

I don’t know why Vrbo was slower than you expected it to be in the return of your deposit. Even though you left the house spotless, you ignored our property manager’s warning that the winds exceeding 10 knots were likely to break the poop shade umbrella and our hvac repair guy said you had the thermostat below what was allowed per contract causing the unit coils to freeze. Your repairs exceeded the deposit amount and we gave you 5 stars and a full refund. Disappointed.

Perfect Nags Head Retreat

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and definitely will return! Thank you so much Carole and Lee, everything was perfect and there were zero complaints. You were very friendly, open and always there in case we needed anything. The pictures do not do it justice, the house is very beautiful and well decorated. The fenced in backyard was great and the saltwater pool was a special treat for the kids, definitely a special oasis. The beach in this area is our favorite and the surfing is great. Please give it a try because you will not be disappointed. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your beautiful home.

Unbelievable first experience in the outer banks!

This property is an absolute gem in the other banks and our family was so thankful to have found this place. Everything from the cleanliness, location, amenities and charm made our first experience in the outer banks a lifetime of memories!

Wonderful property

This property is in a great location close to restaurants and stores. The house is lovely and well cared for. We enjoyed the backyard and pool. The one drawback for us was that the beach access is quite a lot of steps to climb with all your gear.

Location is everything! At least 4 restaurants the locals love are within walking distance. Also, you can walk to a fishing pier, carpet golf, 2 ice cream parlors, great little shops and bakery, 2 breakfast bars, and within a mile, fresh-caught seafood with shrimp and crab steaming options. A park is a block away with pickleball, morning yoga, evening concerts, farmers market, and craft shows all within a short walk! A lifeguard is at the beach access, too.
