Diese Auflistung ist für 1 (# 114 Ruth) der 2 charmanten Twin Cottages, die unter New Ownership sind! Sie sitzen auf Privatgrundstück mit 55 Fuß sandigen Seeufer mit einem privaten Dock und Bootsanker. Die Cottages mit 2 Schlafzimmern und 1 Bad wurden von oben bis unten mit neuem Bodenbelag aufgefüllt. Ruth hat 1 Schlafzimmer mit Queen-Size-Bett und 1 Schlafzimmer mit Voll- und Vollbett (plus ein Queensize-Schlafsofa im Wohnzimmer). Alle neuen Möbel vorhanden, einschließlich aller Bettwäsche, Bettwäsche, Geschirr, Besteck usw. Papierprodukte werden geliefert. Sie müssen nur Ihre Strandtücher mitbringen. Alle neue Beleuchtung (Deckenventilatoren in allen Schlafzimmern) - Wifi - Flachbild-TV mit Kabel - 2 Feuerstellen und tolle Aussicht auf den Sonnenuntergang !!!

Keine Zeitverschwendung bei der Bootseinführung auf einer täglichen Basis. Gehen Sie stattdessen auf unsere private Anlegestelle und kommen und gehen Sie wie Sie möchten. Sandy Bottom See mit einer sehr allmählichen Tiefe fallen lassen, so dass es ideal für Kinder und Erwachsene gleichermaßen. Genießen Sie einen der schönsten Seen und Sonnenuntergänge, die Sie jemals sehen werden.

Jedes Cottage verfügt über einen kleinen Grill, einige Stühle und eine gemeinsame Feuerstelle hinter den Cottages und eine weitere Feuerstelle am See. Die Hütten sind NICHTRAUCHER.

Die Zwillinge sind auf der Nordostseite des Higgins Lake (Sunset Side), etwa 5 Meilen von Roscommon und 3 Meilen von der I-75 Ausfahrt 244 entfernt. Die Cottages stehen am Ende der Straße, aber es ist nur ein kurzer Spaziergang auf dem halb bewaldeten Seeufer zu unserem Privatstrand.

23. Juni bis Ende August Vermietungen sind wöchentlich nur Samstag-Sat. Alle anderen Termine sind mindestens 3 Tage. Vielen Dank für Ihr Interesse an unseren Ferienhäusern. Wir freuen uns darauf, dich zu sehen.

Once again, a wonderful time at the lake

My husband and I have stayed at The Ruth before and loved it. This year we brought some friends! Everyone is still talking about it. The Cottages are amazingly clean. Communication with the owner is perfect! And Higgins Lake… beautiful as always! Cannot wait for our next getaway at the lake!

Cute cottage, had everything we needed and was well stocked. The photos and listing implied it was on the water but it’s actually about a half block from the water. Wish we had known that but it still worked out with our boat. The “twin” cottage next door is literally right next to the cottage, so if you don’t rent it with a group you know, you will be close close neighbors. We were lucky and it was empty during our stay, but good to know in the future.Overall, this cottage met our needs for our vacation.

Great long weekend on the most beautiful lake!

My husband and two older teenage kids spent the long Labor Day weekend at "Ruth". What a great little place! We had a great time on the lake. Location is great! Cottage was clean and had the "few little items" to tide you over until you can get to the grocery. Rented a pontoon from B&B Marina (as always!). Great service and a fun day on the boat! We went to Grayling for dinner one nite at Ray's Brews Blues and BBQ. It was BUSY , but good service and yummy brisket! And, our time at Higgins Lake is never complete without a trip to Nibbles for ice cream! Never long enough, but had a great time nonetheless!

Charming cottage

This is a charming old cottage that has been updated very nicely. It still has the original knotty-pine paneling which I love. The owner had everything we could have possibly needed for our week at Higgins Lake. The best part is that there is private lake frontage that we shared with only one other cabin. The sunsets are spectacular from this viewpoint. I highly recommend this cottage; it’s a great value.

Awesome Cottage and Property

We absolutely loved the Ruth Cottage! It was clean, quaint and updated with everything we needed. It was perfect. The dock, beach area and fire pit areas were fantastic! We enjoyed the peaceful nature of this property. Thoroughly enjoyed speaking with and getting to know Michelle and Glen. They are superb hosts! Thanks for sharing this amazing property with us. Clean and Charming

Charming little cabin, just a couple minutes walk to Higgins lake. Really enjoyed our stay. Michelle thought of everything! Great communication and very accommodating to our early arrival request. Cottage was very clean and towels were fresh and plentiful. Comfy bed. Kitchen had everything we needed. Location is very close to the North Higgins State Park boat launch.

Peaceful & Beautiful!

Our family of four absolutely loved our time at "Ruth." As others have mentioned, Michele & Glen did a beautiful job updating the cottage. It had everything we needed, including plenty of kitchen items. The lake is stunning. The water was so clear, and the shallow depth was perfect for our kids (ages 4 & 2) to play in safely. You have to walk across a small dirt road to access the beach. It's a very short (pretty) walk through the trees to such a gorgeous view. The sunsets were definitely a highlight for us. We really enjoyed using the kayaks, too. Michele was very attentive and helpful. We would love to stay there again!

Relaxing vacation

We had an absolutely wonderful trip. The Water is pristine and shore is very sandy and shallow which allow our young children to safely enjoy many hours in the water! The owners were very nice and helpful. The cabin is comfortable, clean and has everything you need! We hope to return!

Perfect for our family.

Everything was as advertised. Booked both cabins so had the whole place to ourselves. Very clean, and really nicely decorated so you didn't really feel like you were in a hundred year old cabin. Had all the basic amenities in the kitchen you would need, and plenty of towels. The lake is just a short walk away, spent a lot of time down by the beach having a cocktail or two. The boat mooring was very close and the dock was plenty long enough to load all the people and gear on. Spent every night around the fire, kinda felt like camping!! Hosts were very accessible. Can't wait to stay again!!

Great beach, campfires, & cottages

I would 100% recommend staying here, especially if you can rent both cottages as they are very close together and share the fire pits, dock, beach, and kayaks. The property is big enough that it would be fine to rent just one and still have privacy. Very clean and cozy cottage, comfortable beds and furniture. Everything we needed was provided except beach towels. Very comfortable chairs around both fire pits (one on the beach and one by the cottage) and on the dock, perfect for stargazing and campfires. Clean, sandy beach perfect for wading and very shallow for a long ways out. Owners very friendly and helpful. Be aware that the boat anchors are quite a ways away from the dock, like 50 and 100 feet away, because it is so shallow. We brought our own sand anchors to anchor our boats closer to the dock, it was about 2 feet deep just enough to anchor our pontoon boat.

Quiet Location

This was our first time to Higgins Lake and this cottage was a great introduction! All the previous reviews are spot on. What I noticed was the quietness. No loud partiers like in other areas of the lake. More people arrived in neighboring cabins on the 4th, but because The Twins are off on their own, it wasn’t really noticeable. Water was super warm and clear. Fishing was spotty. Would recommend maybe renting a pontoon to access more areas. Hated to leave and would love to return!

Perfect place to relax.

This little cottage is not only charming but very comfortable. A lot of effort has been put into providing everything guests could possibly need. We have stayed in other places around this area, but none come close to comparing to this one. One of the highlights of our trip was sitting by the lake each morning enjoying our coffee, then returning in the evenings to witness the beautiful sunsets. Higgins Lake is beautiful and within 2 hours of our home (Metro Detroit). We felt it was the perfect distance to travel for an up north property. We came across these 2 Cottages and immediately felt attached. The fact that they came with a lakefront lot allowing us to have our own private beach, dock and boat mooring rights, sealed the deal.

The cottages are located on the northeast side of Higgins Lake, providing some of the most spectacular sunsets imaginable. These Twins have a very long family history with the land dating back almost 100 years. They were named after the original owner’s two daughters (Dot #112 & Ruth #114).
