Schöne 3-Zimmer-Chalet, alle neu mit knorrigen Kiefern Interieur, neue Fußböden, neue Küche, neues Bad, 2 neue Queen-Betten und neuen Etagenbetten renoviert (für 6 Personen). Das Hotel liegt auf einem großen, bewaldeten Grundstück in einer ruhigen Umgebung. Große Veranda, wenn Sie zu sitzen und entspannen möchten, und eine Feuerstelle ein paar Schritte von der Veranda.
Nur 3 Meilen nach Nord Higgins Lake State Park und alle Sport Lake (10.000 Morgen und 1 der saubersten Seen in den USA) mit einem traumhaften Sandstrand, Picknickplätze, öffentliche Toiletten und einem Bootsanleger. Gerade weit genug entfernt für Ruhe und ganz.

Cozy comfort

This place has everything that we wanted. A comfortable, quiet cabin close to the lakes and trails that we enjoy so much. This was our second trip to this cabin and look forward to returning soon.

Short family vacation

We loved staying here for a long weekend stay with our family. The property is just a 3 minute drive from North Higgins Lake state park, and we went there a couple times - good beach for the kids. The front fire pit is a perfect spot for an evening fire. The cabin is great for kids or adults - everything was clean and we had a great time!

Beautiful and relaxing

We had such a wonderful vacation! The house is clean, comfortable, and stocked with everything you may need. We enjoyed grilling out and nightly fires in the fire pit. The location is great with lots to do. We recommend the CCC museum and the hiking trails behind it as well as South Higgins Lake beach.

Lil cabin in the woods

We loved this "Lil Cabin in the Woods"

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Darla and Kevin's chalet. The place is adorable and sooooo clean! We spent a day at North Higgins beach and also rented a boat one day so the kids could enjoy tubing and riding around the lake. At night we grilled out and had campfires. This is the perfect place for a family getaway. You will not be disappointed!

Everything (including the weather) was perfect!

Check in and check out were easy. Everything was as described. The cabin was clean and comfortable. We spent a day on the river, a day at the beach and a day thrifting and bowling. Fun was had by all. Thank you!

The cleanest place you will ever find!!

Our stay was great! The cabin was incredibly clean. I felt like I was at home! My husband and I still comment how clean it was!! It had everything you could possibly need! Darla and Kevin were great hosts! Communication was a 10/10 for sure! We loved the location also! We spent one afternoon at Higgins lake, we went to traverse city a couple days, and the other days we just kinda explored! The 1 and only thing we wish was different was the couch. It seemed pretty old and just was not comfortable enough to be able to sit and watch a movie at night. Other than that everything was perfect!!! I’d definitely recommend staying with Kevin and Darla!!

Love this spot!

Had a wonderful long weekend here with my wife and 8 year old son. The house was clean and exactly as described. We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood and cozy little house. This was our second stay at this property and we will definitely stay again. Recommend it very highly.

Stayed here several times and always a great experience. Darla is easily reached and answers any questions. We come up and hunt so we are not the typical renters but it’s a perfect place for us

Memorial Wkend Getaway 2024

The cabin was very well maintained and cozy. Everything was accurately described in the listing. The beds were very comfortable and the linens were fresh clean. I liked that there was a tv in the bedroom as well as the livingroom. The wood throughout the cabin was very beautiful. During our stay we went to Mackinaw City/Mackinac Bridge, Sea Shell City, Hartwick pines and Higgins State Park. The location of the cabin was perfect for sightseeing or just relaxing. Would definitely recommend and stay again. Thank you Kevin & Darla for letting us enjoy your beautiful cabin.

Pictures Don’t Do It Justice!

We LOVED everything about this place. The pictures posted were good but when we arrived we were amazed at just how nice it was! Very very clean, well stocked, spacious and comfortable! The neighborhood was quiet and friendly and being tucked back in the trees made it feel very private. Host was easy to contact and made us feel very welcome. We will definitely come again.
