Bei True North Cabin Rentals haben wir mehrere Hütten zusammen mit schönem Seeblick von der Unterkunft. Kabine Nr. 1 ist eine Zwei-Schlafzimmer, eine Badekabine am schönen Higgins Lake zu vermieten, die Platz für 6 Personen bietet. Inbegriffen sind ein 2 volle Betten, ausziehbare Couch, TV / DVD, Kaffeemaschine, Toaster, Geschirr, Gläser, Besteck, Töpfe und Pfannen Bettwäsche, Handtücher und alles andere, was Sie für Ihren Sommerurlaub mit Spaß brauchen, zusammen mit einem Feuerstelle, Grill, Hängematte und Hufeisen. Ein schöner flacher Sandstrand und ein öffentliches Dock sind nur wenige Schritte von der Hütte entfernt. Lebensmittelgeschäft und die Silver Dollar Bar nur einen Block die Straße hinauf. Die Hütte befindet sich in 2302 Treasure Blvd. Higgins See MI. Pontons, Angel- & Skiboote, Jetskis, Paddelboote, Kajaks, ATVs, Motorroller und UTVs können von GO FAST Rentals, die ebenfalls nur einen Block entfernt sind, zu einem ermäßigten Preis für alle Mieter gemietet werden.

It was a cute little cabin. Good size for 2 to 4 people. Very close to the beach.Enjoyed having coffee on the front porch and camp fires in the back yard.Hope to return next year.

Perfect for a Small Family Trip

The cabin was very cozy and just what we needed. The hot and cold in the kitchen were switched but the owner gave us a heads up and was very attentive to anything we needed. Definitely loved this stay and will come back in the future.

Great family vacation!

We had a great time! Cabin was close to the lake and easy to walk to even with little kids. Host was easy to communicate with and responded quickly. Cabin had everything we needed. We are looking to book again next summer.

Nice location with easy waterfront access.

Perfect size for a small group of friends to ice fish Higgins. Ended up leaving a day early, not because the cabin wasn’t terrific, but the fishing on Higgins was really slow. So we went to a different lake. Might look to renting this location in the summer with the family.

The perfect place for a family gathering

We used 5 of Jeremey’s Higgins Lake cabins and They exceeded our expectations! They are clean, updated and had everything we needed for our family weekend stay. The short stroll to the lake was such a bonus. We watched a gorgeous sunrise. All together the communication with him was prompt and he was happy to answer any & all questions through the process. Thanks for an amazing stay Jeremey! We are excited to come back for sure!!!

Weekend with Mom

Spent 3 nights at Cabin 1 with my mom, sister, and cousin for a girls trip and we had a total blast!! I loved the neighborhood, mostly everyone was friendly and quick to say hello as they walked/rode by. The beach at the state park was awesome, we went Friday and Saturday. The property owner/manager is on site a lot, which I haven’t experienced before so it was a bit of a surprise to have someone outside the bathroom windows planting flowers while I was on the toilet… lol! But still a great trip nonetheless!

Simple cabin close to the lake

Four adults (two couples) stayed here for three nights during our larger family reunion. Proximity to Higgins Lake (one block away) and the overall quiet nature and walkability of this neighborhood was a huge plus. The cabin itself is simple but mostly sufficient with a pretty solid array of kitchen tools, pans, and pots. The furniture, including beds, is comfortable. Loved having access to a grill, hammock, and outdoor seating. One of the downsides was that the doors to the bedrooms were sliding doors that aren’t well installed. One is crooked and doesn’t even fully cover the door opening. This made it challenging to keep our dogs contained at times, but wasn’t a big deal otherwise.

Okay, has some things you should know

Pros: close to lake, decent outdoor space with grill, fire pit etc. House was clean. Cons/Things you should know before booking: 1. Nasty Smell: it has a very musty smell. This is especially bad if windows are closed and air conditioning is on. They are attempting to address this with a lot of air fresheners, which really only add to the problem. 2.The shower: Tiny, micro, mini shower. Is virtually impossible to shave your legs. The water, hot and cold are mixed up and do not work well in the shower. It took forever to figure out how to get the water the right temperature and it’s hard not to either freeze yourself or burn yourself when you’re getting out and trying to turn the water off. 3. Uncomfortable furniture: The chair couch and the beds are not comfortable. Everything is very basic and bare minimum. 4. Bedroom Doors: Both bedrooms have barn doors that don’t close all the way, so if you’re a light sleeper, want kids to go to bed earlier then the adults it’s not ideal. Overall, not terrible, but these are the things that would keep us from booking again.

We had a nice stay. We had everything we needed for our trip. One suggestion, there's an electrical outlet in the bedroom right off the living room that needs to be replaced as it wouldn't hold a plug in place. Simple to fix which I reported to Jeremy. I would also suggest some new living room furniture to make guests feel more at home as the chair and the couch were not very comfortable. The kitchen had a nice stove and refrigerator. Also, ample counter space. Plenty of dishes and cookware. The house was very immaculate and had paper towels, dish soap, hand soap, towels and toilet paper. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

winter weekend away

My husband and I wanted to have a weekend away for ice fishing. Cabin is in a great location close to the lake. Beds are very comfortable and there's a nice wood stove (gas) to keep the cabin warm. We weren't able to fish on Higgins due to ice not as thick as we'd hoped but we were able to fish on Houghton Lake. Fish we caught too small to keep. We had lunch/dinner at the Cut River Grille at Higgins Lake and the Beechwood Cafe in Roscommon. Highly recommend! Also went to Fred's in Roscommon for bowling and to the Silver Dollar Inn in Higgins Lake. Hope to stay again!

Great place to stay

The cabins were very clean, bug free and had everything we needed to have a great family vacation. I will definitely be booking here again! The owners were very prompt if we needed something and we all had a great stay!

North Higgins Lake

We liked the area. It was easy to find and check in. We were not happy with the rental. It smelled like air fresheners, and I felt like they were trying to cover something up. The air fresheners are also not agreeable with allergies. Walking through the cabin was a little difficult because of the angle of the floor. It went up and down. The window screens did not fit the windows so we were afraid to open the windows to let in cool air. The water smelled like sulfur. The shower hot and cold faucets were on opposite sides i.e.: Hot was cold. Cold was hot. It would have been nice to have curtains on the side entry door, the bathroom, and bedrooms. I couldn’t wait to get out of there mainly because of the air freshener smells. We would not stay there again.
