Very nice property

Perfect for our family vacation return to East Beach. Even with Hurricane Ian, it was a good week. The property was perfect for our crowd. Property Management very responsive.

Great house, great location, great time!

We had 7 adults and a pup stay for a long weekend and it was fantastic. Check-in was easy and the house was professionally cleaned. The pool is fantastic and the location was perfect. It isn't SUPER close to the beach, but would be easy with a quick gold cart or car ride. We had 2 minor issues (dishwasher and bed) and messages were immediately responded to and someone was sent out to address them right away. Will be back!

Pool Party at the Beach

Great place for a relaxing vacation! The house was comfortable and had all we needed. The staff responsive and answered all our questions. Walk to beach was easy and in a shaded area. We did rent a golf cart though as we had an infant and elderly grandparent with us. The best part- the POOL! We had a great time swimming in the pool and relaxing around the cabana. Close to parks, shops, grocery stores, and restaurants when we wanted to go out. Highly recommend!

Amazing Beach Property.

This is a perfect property for those looking to be close to the beach and have an amazing pool all to yourself. It was clean, updated, huge and comfortable. The photos don't do it justice. The pool cabana makes you feel like a VIP at a beach resort. We had 7 people staying here and had one bedroom we never even used! The kitchen has everything you need to cook with newer appliances. We will be back!

Crawford Vacation 2024

When we arrived we could not find the bean bags for the corn hole game. I contacted Alex at Lighthouse Vacations and he had some delivered in less than 24 hours. Also the pack & play provided was not in great condition and we didn't feel it was safe for our grandson to sleep in. Again, I contacted Alex and within a few hours he had a brand new pack & play delivered to the rental house. This is the best customer service we have ever received with a vacation rental! The house was the perfect set up for our 6 adult 1 child group. The second floor with 2 bedrooms and a full bath was perfect for our daughter, her husband and little one. We plan on going back to Saint Simons Island and will definitely go thru Lighthouse Rentals! Our son also got engaged to his beautiful girlfriend while we were there. It was a wonderful week!

Nice location on East Beach

First time at Saint Simons Island and East Beach location was very nice and convenient to the village, shops, and nice restaurants. House location was further from the beach than expected although still walkable and the beach access private and roomy. The side of house/grass flooded and made it difficult to get in and out of garage and the proximity to road where people tend to speed was not idea and this is how you have to walk to the beach but the marsh with live crabs is literally across the street and makes for an enjoyable time! The house is dated and the deck leading down to pool old and splintered. All but one of the Bedrooms are very large with tons of closet space and the interior of the home was nice but the furniture was old and dated. Pool and shaded area by the pool was wonderful!! My biggest criticism is in the housekeeping - the areas around doorknobs and light switches was filthy and I had to clean them when we arrived.

Great location, could use to changes for 12 people

Overall the location was great, 2 blocks from the beach whether we walked or drove and drop off on 6th st access. No where to park by that beach access though. House had 8 beach chairs, no umbrellas which I think is a must in a beach rental. Other things I would suggest-dining table only sat 8 and house is for 12 people. Living room had a small sofa and loveseat, again not enough seating. Kitchen needed more essentials such as larger pots and pans. Outdoors- could really use a gas grill, working with charcoal is just a hassle and takes too long. Also there was corn hole but the bags were either empty or had holes for the beads to be falling out. So overall yes great stay but would make some changes to the home to accommodate the 12 that it says it sleeps.

Nice home, could be great if more seating & better equipped kitchen.

Great location, bedding was very comfortable. For a four-five bedroom needs more comfy seating in the living area -- another love seat or sofa is needed. We had to sit in our beach chairs as dining chairs are hard metal and not comfy to sit and watch TV. House was clean, but spotted a few roaches in the sink. However, the pest company came out same day. Also had to request more linens, which arrived within the hour. Lighthouse was very responsive to the issues we reported.

Great trip!

We had a great time for our first trip to St. Simons. There were lots of great local restaurants, and it was a nice quiet neighborhood. The backyard with the pool was definitely the highlight of our trip, and we'd happily stay again. We had a few maintenance issues with flooring and trying to operate the dishwasher, but overall it was a great trip. The beach access was a bit treacherous and flooded due to recent rain, but the public beach access on either side of the beach was a quick two to three minute drive and only a fifteen minute walk. Overall it was a great trip and we'd gladly stay here again.

Nice Property

Overall the place was nice.. very clean but it could use a little TLC. It seemed to have been recently renovated but they forgot to finish a few things. A walk through by the manager really paying attention would be a great idea!

Spacious home with fantastic pool

We stayed at this property with our family of five, another family of four and my husband’s parents. We had the perfect amount of space when it came to bedrooms, baths and pool space. The common space didn’t have enough seating for everyone to sit at the same time, though. One couch and one loveseat isn’t enough to suit 12 (which, I believe, is what the house is listed to accommodate). The kitchen table only seated 8 with no other bar or table options, so some had to eat holding their plate on lap while seated on the couch. And that was really the only drawback. The pool area was perfect and the garage was full of pool and beach toys. The location is fantastic and so peaceful located right next to the marsh. We also walked to the beach a few times. The beds were comfortable, so much so that we reached out to ask brand. Overall, a great stay!

Great Location, Great Pool, Plenty of Room

We all really enjoyed this house! We had a few minor issues, but all were addressed by property management quickly. The tub clogged, but they came same-day to repair and replaced the broken iron. The house had a great layout for our extended family. The kitchen was nice and spacious and stocked with most everything you could need to cook. Aside from the floor being really creaky and the floors a bit uneven / bubbly, we thought it was a great house. I only mention the floors because if anyone woke up early, anyone sleeping downstairs was aware. The floors were loud! Also, we'd stay here again but rent a golf cart. The walk to the beach was fine for adults but a bit of a haul for our 4, 6, and 7 year olds in the group. Overall, this really suited us and our needs and was great for the price!

relaxing getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed staying in the house. The main suggestion we have is to replace the back deck and handrail as two of our kids got splinters walking on the deck barefoot.

Great Family Vacation

Spacious house with a great pool and cabana! Just enough decor to give it a beach feeling. There were eleven of us so being able to enjoy being inside and outside was a plus. Just one suggestion if it is possible. Maybe a larger dining table and chairs as it accommodated 8 and there were 11 of us so we could not all eat together at night and in the summer it is usually too hot to eat on the deck. We had no issues that had to be taken care of and had a wonderful fun family vacation. Appreciated the extra beach chairs to use!

Some minor issues with the house which were addressed. For amount of money paid for the property for the week, heated pool should have been included instead of paying for daily usage. Overall, not a bad place to stay.
