We loved our stay. We were very central to everything and appreciated the easy access to shops and restaurants. There were a few things that needed addressing, like one of the keys wasn't working on one of the sets we had and we needed more bath towels. These things were very quickly remedied and the team was very communicative. Highly recommend!

The apartment was ideally located for shopping, restaurants and sightseeing!!! It felt very spacious and comfortable. The kitchen and bathrooms are modern. It was quiet at night since the stores close at 10. We loved it and would stay here again!

Property was clean, spacious, and the air conditioning was much appreciated. The location is also excellent, in the centre of the city. I would say the lift is very small. I use a wheelchair myself and struggled to fit in, if my wheelchair was even 1cm longer I wouldn’t have had anywhere to stay! The staff are very helpful but I think this needs mentioning in the property description.

This property shows well on the pictures but it is not a property that delivered on basic expectations. The apartment was not clean and not well equipped. It lacked basic things like a dish towel and soap and floors as well as overall cleanliness was terrible. Even the dining room chairs were so filthy as well as the bathrooms that we had to keep socks on to move around in the apartment (which were ready for a wash in less than a day). We stayed 5 nights. Although upon check-in a request was made to provide the specialty pods for coffee machine, these were never provided and no follow up was made on ANY of the issues brought to the providers attention. The dryer is defective as it requires 6-7 restarts to dry clothe and it only stays on less than 10 minutes. There is not enough seating in the living room to accommodate 4 adults. One of the bathrooms is adjacent to a bedroom and therefore not accessible for the other 3 rooms to use. Now we rented this place because of its location in the heart of Puerta del Sol and although noise was expected as we wanted to be in the heart of the action, the noise levels at all times of day and night prevented us from enjoying the location. The management company reached out on day 3 of our stay to ask if we needed anything and by this point again the issues were brought to their attention with no success for resolution. We are all regular recipes through VRBO (I personally rent 5-6 times a year) and this property is not worth it.

Apartment in the Centre of Madrid

This modern and spacious apartment is well located for exploring Madrid, just steps from Puerta Sol. It has 3 good sized bedrooms (one with twin beds), a good kitchen and lots of space to relax. It is, however, in a very busy shopping area where the neon street signs and street life can make you feel like you are staying in Times Square. That said, the windows are well made and the street noise is minimal once you are in the apartment.

Ideal location

This apartment is steps from Plaza del Sol- which we were told is ‘the heart of the city’, and it is. We were walking distance to practically all of Madrid’s main sights, and if you’re inclined to ride the Metro, there’s an easily accessible station, across the street. There’s also a grocery store between the apartment and Plaza del Sol. The street is lively (noisy) with street performers and busy with pedestrians (it’s a walking street), but we weren’t around enough to be too bothered by it, and when we were, it was manageable.

Great location, roomy, lovely amenities

The apartment is up to date and modern as pictured and is in a lovely old building on a central pedestrian shopping street in Madrid, walking distance to the palace on one end and the Prado museum at the other. When open, a beautiful breeze comes in the windows and the music from the street musicians can be heard almost every evening. The apartment has nice amenities, especially air conditioning which is a nice plus. The rooms and beds were clean, and extra towels were provided on request. A washing machine is available, but European speed (very slow). We enjoyed ourselves very much!

Die Unterkunft ist perfekt gelegen!Die Zimmer sind sehr schön und die Betten sehr bequem, allerdings für zwei Personen mit einer Bettdecke recht eng.Die Ausstattung der Wohnung ist dagegen nicht so gut!Das fängt mit der defekten Kaffeemaschine an, was gerade morgens mit mehreren Personen echt ärgerlich war.Der Fernseher funktioniert nicht, im Kühlschrank ist die Lade kaputt, es gibt nur sehr eingeschränkt Küchenutensilien und keinerlei Grundausstattung bei den Lebensmitteln (nicht mal Salz und Pfeffer) !In der Wohnung gibt es keine Hinweise für den Aufenthalt und W-Lan funktioniert auch nicht! Besonders störend ist der Baulärm ab 7 Uhr morgens.Das Angebot entspricht nicht unseren Erwartungen an eine Ferienwohnung in dieser Preisklasse! Eigentlich schade, weil die Mängel einfach zu beheben wären.

Beautiful apartment in the heart of Madrid

We (2 couples) had a wonderful stay in this beautifully decorated, spacious apartment right in the centre of Madrid. Everything was perfect: equipment and furnishings tasteful and to the highest standard. Lovely old front windows and kitchen area with glass walls make the living area light and airy. Located steps away from Puerto del Sol (view from window straight to the clock tower) and just 15 minutes from galleries and museums. We could not recommend it more!

Mehr mittendrin geht nicht!!

Wir waren mit 5 Personen Gast in diesem Apartment mitten in Madrid. So perfekt gelegen, dass man keinen Bus und keine Metro braucht und sich deshalb die Madrid Card sparen kann. Fussläufig ist alles zu erreichen, Museen, Gran Via, Plaza Mayor, Mercado San Miguel...... alles ist nur um die Ecke gelegen. Gegenüber dem Haus ist das Corte Ingles, dass neben den bekannten Marken und Luxusartikeln auch einen Supermarkt im Untergeschoss hat. Da dieser auch am Wochenende geöffnet hat, kann man sich gut mit allem versorgen, falls man mal nicht in eine Bar einkehren möchte. Die Wohnung ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Leider gab es keinen deutschen Fernsehsender, aber wir waren ja auch nicht zum fernsehen da. 2 Badezimmer und 3 Schlafzimmer liegen im hinteren ruhigeren Bereich. Zur Straße hin ist es relativ laut. Kein Straßenverkehr, denn die Wohnung liegt in der Fußgängerzone, aber Fussgänger können bis morgens auch viel Lärm veranstalten. Man hat viel Livemusik um sich herum, denn irgendein Straßenmusiker singt immer unter dem Haus. Aber sie wechseln ständig und es hat uns auch nicht gestört. Ich möchte dies nur mitteilen, falls jemand die Wohnung möchte und evtl dort arbeiten möchte und sich konzentrieren muss. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet, obwohl wir sie nicht viel genutzt haben. Ein großer Kühl- und Gefrierschrank ist hervorzuheben. Ebenso die schnelle Induktionsplatte. Alles da. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und alles war neuwertig und mit Liebe eingerichtet. Wir würden gerne diese Wohnung wieder buchen. Wegen der Lage und dem Einrichtungsstil, aber auch wegen der Größe. Noch zu erwähnen ist, dass Daniel sofort zur Stelle war, als die Heizung nicht richtig lief, weil Luft drin war (November!!). Er war schnell mit einem Handwerker zur Stelle und brachte alles in die Reihe. So muss das sein. Daher auch der 5. Stern für Wohnung und das Drumherum!!!!

Very nice apartment in a great location

This 3 bedroom 3 bath apartment was extremely inviting and comfortable to stay in. We were able to spread out with multiple sitting areas. The decor was great and everything you could need was provided. The property manager met us as we arrived and ensured we were comfortable and had what we needed. This was the last leg of our trip and it was the perfect place to enjoy Madrid and then come back to relax. The location is perfect - walking distance to everything but tucked away so there isn't a lot of street noise. We'll be back!

Location, location, location!

Big apartment in the heart of the action. Check in was very easy with the representative meeting us opromptly. There is a small walk from where the taxi drops you off. The apartment was very clean but maybe a little older than it looks in the listing. The building is very old with kind of a creepy entrance. The windows overlooking the street are beautiful. It can be a bit noisy in the front of the apartment where the “living” area is. This was awesome for all of the street musicians! Very walkable to all attractions. Grocery store and shops literally downstairs. My only real complaint was there was no hair dryer and really no attempt provide one. I ended up buying one.

Madrid at your doorstep

The location of this apartment is very convenient to everything. Steps to Plaza del Sol, shops and restaurants. The apartment is clean and has everything you would need for a comfortable stay. It is updated and clean. It easily accommodated our family of 5. Check-in was easy and communication was great. I will return and rent this apartment again.

Amazing Location, Great for Families

We had a wonderful time at this place in Madrid with our 3 children and 4 adults. Very central and on a pedestrian street - right in the heart of Madrid at Plaza del sol. It's also located right beside the metro line and easy to get around to all of the sites. The place is very clean and spacious and would definitely recommend.

Lovely Flat in Very Noisy Location!!

This lovely, spacious apartment is on a busy pedestrian shopping street which is great for location and but not so good for sleep! There are street musicians all day and evening and the sound is very loud echoing off the buildings until about 11:30 PM. Also, there were other very loud groups 2-3 am on the street or in the building on 2 of the 4 nights we stayed here. If you plan to be out all day until the wee hours, this is a great place for you! The representative who checked us in could not have been less informative, more disinterested or more anxious to be done and gone. Find another job as you clearly do not like the one you have!! Bad impression to start off the stay. Kitchen needs a bread board, though other equipment was adequate, beds are good and bathrooms are fine. Shower drain in master bath needs a clean out as it is so slow water pools and risks overflow even with short shower.

Lovely apartment, just as described

This apartment was perfect for my family of 4 who needed 3 bedrooms. It was furnished exactly as depicted and all the furniture was quite comfortable, particularly the beds! The location is 3 floors above a very busy pedestrian mall; we loved the liveliness although the electric advertising signs and amplified (but quite talented orchestral) musicians were bothersome at times. Accessing the apartment upon arrival and departure was seamless.

Wonderful stay

We were 5 adults and the property was just perfect for us for a long weekend. Location was great fun at that time of the year ( mid December) . The agents were great to deal with and I would totally recommend this rental.

Gorgeous apartment

Loved this place! It is as beautiful as the photos, and you can't get more centrally located than this. The pedestrian street below had excellent musicians playing most evenings. Beware if you use the airport transfer service (this is a separate company) that you'll need to confirm exactly where they will pick you up for the trip to the airport - we were given a street corner and restaurant name but there was no such restaurant at that corner and the car never showed up - we easily got a taxi a block away so no great loss (and the taxi was 5 euros cheaper). Also if you need to do laundry you might ask if the dryer has been fixed yet, as it was insanely slow (3 hours to dry two swimsuits) - I let them know that the vent may be clogged so hopefully it will be taken care of. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Perfect location, ideal apartment set up

Comfortable apt for two couples. Quiet bedrooms. Separate full bathrooms. Perfect location on Calle Preciados just off Puerta del Sol on pedestrian only street. Cristina was always available to help with any questions. Elevator for my old bones after days of walking tours. Washing machine worked well. Dryer not so much. Cortes des Ingles basement level supermarket is across the street. We would rent again in a second.

The location is excellent and 2 mins from Puerta del sol. Very close to Madrid palace and in a very lively neighborhood... the apartment itself is very nice... only thing is that you have to buy your own shampoo, shower gel and other cleaning products...

Perfect location, best managers, lovely decor

The apartment was just as the pictures; location was better than expected, in the heart of everything, walking distance to everything. Went with family (grandmothers and kids) and supermarket was just across the street, so that made us feel at home. Very complete kitchen, and staff was available 24hrs to help us with any doubt. At the end, they even hired us an extremely cheap and excellent transport to the airport, for the 7 of us and out 10 bags. Will definitely come back if we travel to Madrid. Thumbs up for the Vanray’s team (Paula and Cristina)
