Aloha! Unsere Wohnung ist eine 1 BR / 1 BA ruhige End-Einheit mit einem atemberaubenden Blick auf das Meer! Die Küche wurde im Jahr 2015 komplett mit neuen Geräten, einschließlich einer neuen Waschmaschine und Trockner umgebaut. Das Schlafzimmer hat ein Doppelbett, eine Kommode und einen großen Schrank. Das Wohnzimmer hat ein Queen-Schlafsofa. Bettwäsche und Handtücher sind vorhanden und die Küche ist ausgestattet, um Ihren Aufenthalt so sorgenfrei wie möglich zu machen. Das Schlafzimmer und Wohnzimmer haben Deckenventilatoren und es gibt A / C, falls die Passatwinde Sie nicht kühl genug halten. Im Wohnzimmer finden Sie einen HD-Fernseher mit Direct-TV, einen DVD-Player, eine Stereoanlage, einen Drucker sowie eine Sammlung von Büchern und Spielen, wenn Sie den Stecker ziehen möchten. Es gibt auch Boogie Boards, Schnorchelausrüstung, Strandspielzeug und einen Strandkorb, den Sie im Schlafzimmerschrank benutzen können. Ma'alaea Banyans ist eine Unterkunft direkt am Meer mit Zugang zum Strand, zwei Außengrills, einem Pool und ist die einzige Unterkunft in Ma'alaea mit einem Whirlpool! Haycraft Park und Sugar Beach sind nur eine Viertel Meile zu Fuß die Straße runter. Sugar Beach ist einer der längsten Strände auf Maui und erstreckt sich 2,5 km nach North Kihei. Sie können direkt in Ma'alaea bleiben, um eine Vielzahl von Aktivitäten zu genießen; Schwimmen, Schnorcheln, Body-Surfen, Boogie-Boarding, Surfen, Paddeln, Kajakfahren, Angeln oder einfach die grünen Meeresschildkröten entlang der Küste beobachten oder Wale beobachten (Ende November - April).
Der Hafen von Ma'alaea liegt weniger als 1 km entfernt und bietet leckere Restaurants, Geschäfte, das Maui Ocean Center und den Maui Golf & Sportpark (Putt Putt, Kletterwand, X-Treme Trampolin und Bumper Boats). Der Hafen ist auch ein Startpunkt für Boote nach Molokini zum Schnorcheln, Abendessen Kreuzfahrten oder Walbeobachtung.
Ma'alaea liegt zwischen Lahaina und Kihei und ist etwa 16 Kilometer vom Flughafen Kahului entfernt. Diese zentrale Lage ist ideal, wenn Sie vorhaben, mehr von dem zu erleben, was Maui zu bieten hat. What a great place! The balcony was amazing for watching the beautiful sunrises and sunsets as well as many whales. The general store in the harbor is always a favorite place to visit for a yummy breakfast or an ice cold beer after a day on the beach. And the host was amazing! Lots of good communication to make sure we had everything we needed for our stay. We look forward to staying again.

Very nice place.

The condo is nice - well stocked with lots of beach equipment. There is a good sized lanai with a beautiful view of the ocean. It’s just a few steps to the water, where we saw lots of sea turtles. Nice, quiet building in a nice, quiet area. Owner is very easy to reach with questions. Just be aware that the check out instructions include: “Please wash sheets and towels separately. Please leave clean/dry sheets and towels on the bed.”

On the water! Great location.

This place is a perfect location. We could see whales right outside the lanai. turtles too Washer and dryer great; Ample parking. Cons: they request you to do laundry while you're there. We had to put away previous tenants sheets and also start laundry of our own sheets before leaving. They requested us to throw out garbage and to start the dishwasher. all of this while paying over $$$ for cleaning fee. I don't want to clean on vacation. And then pay for cleaning. This unit is very much dated. the view is lovely. Whales galore! Owner great.

Great location. Great value! Great host!

Walking distance (half mile) to harbor, aquarium, restaurants, shops. You can book any excursion at Boss Frogs. Great BBQ in the little shopping center too with free parking. (Harbor parking is only $0.50 per hour) Nice pool and waterfront at the condo including a couple gas grills available for owners / tenants although we didn't use them other than a quick dip in the hot tub. Condo has ALL the features you need. It is a little dated and but in good condition and very comfortable and more than sufficient. Laundry in unit was a huge plus. Dishwasher and full size fridge too. Owner was very helpful and easy to work with. I have no idea how he can rent such an amazing unit at this low price. The biggest down side is that tenant is required to wash and dry all bedding and towels before a 10:00 checkout. There was some laundry soap but only enough for 1 load so I had to make a run to Safeway last minute. My wife was kind enough to skip last morning excursion to stay back and clean. :-( All in all, we would absolutely stay here again!

Thanks for the review ! We are always trying to make the stay as easy as possible for the guests. It is such an amazing place. Before the 10am checkout, we do request that the guests start the wash machine on checkout morning to give our cleaning person a bit of a head start as we usually have a quick turnover for the next tenant ! Additionally, we do provide the initial dispensable items supplied (tp, soaps, paper towels, laundry soap, etc), and ask that you replenish as needed. We will look to add more dispensable items to the unit to make it easier on the guests. We hope that you will come back and stay in our wonderful unit. Much appreciated and Mahalo !

The unit is quiet. View lovely. Very clean on arrival. Was reminded twice during our stay by house keeping to make the beds with the washed linens. Ok. No big. They also needed us out be out by ten am. Orig supposed to be 11. But ok. It was made clear the unit needed to be ready for the next guest. That she would be meeting us at 10 am for a walk through. At 900 am we went for a coffee run. We returned at 945 to the unit . Nance, the Housekeeper was already in the unit. Our belongings clearly visible. Our beach Drinks dumped. It was very awkard. She said the cleaning protocols changed. She was wearing a clothe mask under chin. I also found 2 comforters in the linen closet with urine stains. I did show Housekeeping.

Ma’alaea is a perfect location. The area is quiet and close to Kihei and Lahaina. Harbor is a short walk and offers restaurants and some souvenir shopping.

One and foremost, the views was stunning and the location was key. Short walk to the pier made this place an awesome place to stay. Great Place To Stay!

I booked a last minuet trip to make it to a friends wedding! Ron was a great host with great communication. I really enjoyed that the location was in quiet area and had great beaches with access right out front or a short walk to the end of the road. It was a simple process from start to finish, the place was clean, and view was incredible. Can't wait to go back! Thanks Again Ron!

An honest review

As a frequent guest in this complex I feel it behoves me to give a detailed review so as to aid the possible client that are looking at this unit. Owners tend to show their pictures of the units in the best light and enhance the qualities of the unit and the complex. First, let me say that I stayed at this complex for seven weeks, the first four in a beautifully remodeled condo on the second floor that was wonderfully equipped with everything a guest might need. I then moved to this unit. This condo was a letdown, the bed was a queen, the bathroom was a mix of newer and very old and the kitchen was what I would call a neutral. The appliances all functioned, but the dishes were all cheap ceramics from a big asian country. The silverware was all entry level. The living room furniture consisted of three pieces of furniture, two of which were chairs in the Hawaiian style of having thin wood arms. The couch hide a bed was very comfortable and was fully upholstered, no rattan style arms here. The lanai's at this complex are quite large, the furniture on the lanai consisted of four chairs and a table which was adequate. The sliding glass to the lanai worked very well while the sliding screen was balky and had a broken handle on the inside which added to the difficulty. The screen also had two holes in it. The view from the lanai is nice, but not 180 as there is a private compound right next door with tall trees that impede the view to your left. The unit had two overhead fans which operated by chainpull, there were no remotes and no built in lights. The living room had a air conditioner that blew cold, but had no remote. The unit had carpeting in the br and lr that seemed fine, but the owner has told me he will be replacing said carpet with some form of wood. The beach that they describe is not really a swimming beach, it is a small sandy area that goes from sand to rock at the waterline. To me , this was not a negative, but to a family with tykes who are expecting to go out back and swim it might be. There is a beach about a eight minute walk away that is user friendly In closing I will say that I have stayed at this complex four times for a total of 25 weeks and have had to deal with smokers three out of the four times smoking on the lanai immediately under me. The complex has a designated smoking area's, but some smokers feel the rules are only for the little people.

Just a few thoughts: As stated on our site, we do have a queen bed. All of the pictures are originals by the owner, not a professional. They show what furniture is in all rooms. newly upgraded end tables, sofa and a Flat screen TV ! You can see the lanai, and the view from our photos. To our left is a beautiful home that use to be owned by the legendary NBA coach, Don Nelson. We have never heard any complaints about smokers. We go over quite a bit and have never had an issue - we will bring it to the attention of management. Correct ! Our beach is not a swimming beach. There is an inlet to go snorkeling or kayaking. Many people enjoy fishing off of our beach as well. There are many green sea turtles that hover around our beach. Additionally, its a great spot to setup a chair and watch the sunrise or sunset in peace. If you do want to go to Sugar Beach/Haycraft Park, it is a very short walk (5 mins). There you can walk for miles or jump in the water and enjoy. If you let us know of any issues or concerns during you stay, we make every effort to address them quickly Our hope is to provide guests with a comfortable place to rest in between island adventures. Everyone that has stayed in the unit will attest to our availability to fix/help with anything that may come about. We are at your service ! Nice view with amenities included.

Enjoyable stay. Unit is located at the end of the building so it was very quiet. Gorgeous view of the bay. Had everything we needed for a home away from home. Didn't cook any meals but the microwave was great for reheating leftovers. Loved that there's a washer and dryer; however the dryer does vent warm air into the room -- that's why the AC is a must. Note: the hairdryer is located in the long horizontal drawer under the bathroom sink -- didn't realize it was an actual drawer. Communication with owner Ron Benjamin was superior. He was really good about replying quickly to my emails. Here's one funky occurrence. Came home one night when it was super windy out. None of the keys would unlock the door. The on-site maintenance man came up and was able to open it for us. The wind had created a vacuum in the room, which affected the lock. I think he either pulled or pushed on the door while turning the key, which made the lock open. Purchased 6 refreezable ice blocks at Target for the cooler. Brought the cooler with us every day; was glad to have it. Anyway...it's a great unit and a nice place to stay. Would definitely stay there again.

Great location and comfortable!

We absolutely loved the setting and location of this Condo. It had a great view of the ocean, with well kept grounds, pool, and barbecue area. It’s very close to available charters for snorkeling, Whale watching and fishing. We had a Change in our trip with a surprise visit from our son in law and daughter and Ron the property owner was very accommodating to the adjustment in our vacation plans. Very enjoyable and relaxing place.

Great location for a low-key vacation

It was just right for three of us looking for a home base while we explored Maui. The location was out-of-the-way enough to feel like we weren't in a hoard of tourists, but we were close enough to everything we wanted to visit.
