Gulf Haven ist ein dreistöckiges Strandhaus mit drei Schlafzimmern, drei Vollbädern und einem halben Bad mit einer Wohnfläche von knapp 400 Quadratmetern und einer praktischen Garage für ein Auto. Dieses Haus hat einen neuen Besitzer (Herbst 2017) und wurde professionell renoviert und in einem Küstenstrandhaus eingerichtet.

Im Erdgeschoss finden Sie ein geräumiges Wohnzimmer, ein Esszimmer und eine voll ausgestattete Küche mit Essbereich, Kühlschrank mit Eismaschine, Mikrowelle, Geschirrspüler und Müllentsorgung. Es gibt einen separaten Waschraum mit Waschmaschine und Trockner sowie ein großes Waschbecken. Zusätzlich zu den Hauptwohnbereichen im Erdgeschoss gibt es eine große private Master-Suite sowie eine zusätzliche WC-Badewanne im Foyer.

Im zweiten Stock finden Sie zwei zusätzliche Gästezimmer mit zwei Vollbädern und einer separaten Sitzecke. Fahren Sie weiter bis zum Krähennest, um den dritten Wohn- und Schlafbereich mit 360 ° -Blick auf Martinique, das angrenzende Naturschutzgebiet und den wunderschönen Golf von Mexiko zu erreichen.

My daughter and I were able to ride the bikes and easily add air to the tires when needed. Great sand area outside for the kids to play in. Grill set up was great and the kitchen had everything you needed.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great time! The house was very well equipped...better than most rentals.The tv's did not work in the bedrooms all week. WIFi was out the last two days and on and off the first part of the week. For the price we would expect more paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags and dishwasher pods...especially if you expect the dish washer run when we leave. More towels and wash cloths would have also been nice. This is the first rental we've had that didn't have shampoo and soap in the showers.Had a couple issues....golf cart and tvs, that we called maintenance for help. They were very responsive and solved the cart issue, but deferred to the owener for the tv and they declined to help.Overall a great time and we would definately return.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family loved Gulf Haven, it was decorated so nice and it was very clean. The only negative was the bikes. I called after reading a review stating they weren’t usable to verify they had been repaired and was told they had been but that wasn’t true. We left our bikes at home and planned on using these bikes but it worked out this vacation because it was soooo hot we wouldn’t have rode much anyway but this does information does need to be updated. Great trip and we plan on renting Gulf Haven again next year!

Comfortable & Clean unit at Martinique

Unit is clean, and with a large 3 story home, there were many areas for kids and adults to hangout.The dissappointments: 1. the refrigerator/freezer door does not fully close, allowing ice cream and ice to melt. 2. the icemaker is not functioinal (located in the fridge compartment). 3. the mattresses are hard as a rock (uncomfortable for my taste). 4. the 4 included bicycles had no air in the tires, and one bike was missing a wheel (that made it much more difficult to use).That all being said, the property was comfortable for the 9 of us. We enjoyed the Gulf Haven unit, and we loved Martiniqe on the Gulf private community, and our time on the beach.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family enjoyed a long weekend at Gulf Shores beach on Ft. Morgan Road in late September. We stayed in Gulf Haven a lovely home at Martinique Resort and there was plenty of room for 5 adults and two children. The kitchen was fully equipped for cooking and there were loads of beach toys, four bikes and a golf cart we used. The house was on a cul -de- sac so there was plenty of privacy and great for the kids to play on bikes and scooters when not at the beach. Screened porch and a large grill in the back of house and large side yard provided plenty of play area and outdoor space. Two beautiful pools and a workout facility were a short walk from the house also.

Great family beach haven

This was the second time we stayed at the Martinique this year and this unit was far superior to the unit that we stayed in before. For one the air conditioner worked well in this unit and the property manager/owner does not turn off the refrigerator between guests. I know those two things sound crazy but believe me they happened with the other unit we stayed in which was not managed by the resort management. My biggest piece of advice if you plan on staying in the resort is to make sure your unit is locally managed preferably the resort management because it appears they have standards to what each unit condition should be in.. The resort is kid friendly with the pools and the easy beach access. Wildlife is abundant around the area as we had a snake on our back deck one day so make sure you keep an eye out. The unit was well stocked and the appliances worked well, every bedroom had a tv with a cable box and every bedroom had a ceiling fan. Every light switch was labeled to what it controlled which was nice and the setup of the unit could accommodate a large group of people, three bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and an open loft on the third floor. The golf cart worked well, the furniture was comfortable, there was plenty of indoor and outdoor living space, and nice tall ceilings on the first level. There is a Dollar General up the road for soap, trash bags, detergent etc because you only get a minimal amount of these items when you check in and if you are staying in and cooking your meals in the unit you will need more than provided. I would also suggest stopping at the Publix on the way in for your groceries because if you go to the Walmart like I did you will wish you chose a different grocery store. This unit and resort is a great option for a vacation to get away to a secluded area of the gulf that is family friendly.

Family beach getaway ‘21

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented Gulf Haven, a 3 BR 3 1/2 bath house. The location was close to the beach on Marin Way. The layout of the house was great for our adult children and grands. We enjoyed having the pool near the ocean, and the indoor/outdoor option in the neighborhood. Our included golf cart broke down on Tuesday and was finally replaced late Wed. This created issues of getting to and from the beach with small kids. We had expected some type of compensation for this lost amenity but it was not forthcoming. We we paid for 3 parking passes but we’re not allowed to park all vehicles at the house. One was parked and left at beach/pool lot. I have not heard from management concerning adjustments to be made for the 2 days without the golf cart.
