-Der neu gebaute beheizte Pool ist der größte auf South Padre Island, für ein Einfamilienhaus. Der Pool verfügt über einen 8-Personen-Whirlpool, Unterwasser-Solarium, Wasserrutsche, Basketballkorb und neu installierte Travertin-Pool-Decking. Dieses Haus hat zu jeder Tageszeit ungehindert Sonnenlicht, ideal zum Sonnenbaden! Die Gäste genießen ihre Zeit in diesem tropischen Garten.

Etwas, das dieses Haus zu einem einzigartigen Miethaus macht, ist der Hinterhof-Basketballplatz mit einer professionellen Größe Mammoth 72 ", in gemahlenem, ausgeglichenem Glasbasketballkorb. Das Haus bietet eine große Sitzecke mit einem Doppel-Propan und Grill. Der Basketballplatz und der Poolbereich sind ideal für Gruppenaktivitäten, Geburtstagsfeiern, Hochzeiten, Quinceañeras und vieles mehr! Das Haus umfasst alle neuen Möbel, Fernseher und, Edelstahl-Geräte 6 Parkplätze für Gäste Fahrzeuge, und öffentliche Parkplätze in der Nähe zur Verfügung, wenn nötig. Der Balkon im 2. Stock ist groß und umgibt die Nord- und Westseite des Hauses. Die Gäste können leicht von der oberen Etage in den Hinterhof gelangen, indem sie vom Balkon auf der 2. Etage zur Terrasse und dem Pool auf der 1. Etage gelangen. Dies bietet mehrere Möglichkeiten, die großen Annehmlichkeiten des Hinterhof zu erreichen.

The house smelled, the kitchen cabinets were sticky and the floors didn’t feel clean. Pool table was not in good condition.

Great pool plenty of towels. Nice starter kits to get us started on our family vacation. Had an issue with the air conditioning and they were here to fix it in about 10 minutes!!! Great service very friendly and highly recommend, great location I'm able to see the ocean and drink coffee from the balcony what more could you ask for!

Perfect for our big group of friends, 10 total. Centrally located, spacious, and lots of hot water for showers! We really enjoyed having our own private pool & hot tub space. This would be a great rental choice for families too. Nice, private neighborhood with a cute bunk bed room. Friendly and helpful staff. Very responsive to questions and the check-in/check-out process was very simple.

Winter get away

Had a great time. The pool and hot tub were enjoyed by all. Had a small issue figuring out the hot tub and a small problem with the garbage disposal. They were there within a few minutes. Both gentlemen were polite and very helpful.House was great, plenty of room for eveyone. The staff on the phone were always polite. Thanks for a great time!!! We'll be backing 😎

Really good stay!

We had 15 family members staying together ages ranging from one to 80. As mentioned in other reviews this house shows larger in the pictures, and is more tired than the pictures show. We had a great stay and there was room for everyone. The pool is smaller than it appears but was still very nice, hot tub was nice also! Basketball court was very nice and used quite a bit! We did call maintenance and they were very prompt and addressed our questions. This company was really great to work with. The location of the property is awesome, I would stay here again.

Birthday Getaway

Family of 20 but ended up with 9 who were ale to enjoy this birthday weekend ON THE BEACH! House was in the PERFECT Location and large enough to have our own space for quiet time. Pool and hot tub was more enjoyable than the beach. Was a bit too windy but still had warm ocean water. Were able to enjoy EVERYTHING the house had to offer. Very quiet and relaxing. Easy check in and out. House had a few minor things that were fixed within an hour of calling. Overall, WE ARE ALREADY LOOKING FOR A DATE to come back so the entire family can enjoy again. Thank you SPI for an amazing weekend!!!

Adequate

Lots of bedrooms and bathrooms are a plus for this property, as well as the proximity to beach access points. The pool area was also quite nice. We had a few issues that were immediately handled by the rental company. Overall the property is not as pictured - they were probably taken years ago, and could use some work for the price charged. We did get a short blast of the sewer smell (not sure where that was from) and the kitchen is very small for the capacity of the house.

Fun in the sun

Overall our stay was good. Check in process was very easy. Communication with SPI rentals was excellent. The pool and basketball court was amazing for our family of mostly teens. The home itself was OK. There was nothing terribly unpleasant, although the home does need some updates, and could be cleaned better upon arriving. The organization of the the dishes, pots and pans, silverware, and cooking utensils needs some attention as does the dishwasher for those families doing cooking in the home. Overall our stay was good, and I would recommend this facility for large family groups.

This is the nastiest house I have ever stayed in! The house smells disgusting inside and outside. We crammed everyone upstairs because the smell was so bad downstairs. Would not recommend.

4511 Gulf House

We rented this house for our family and had a great time. The property was very clean and had everything that we needed. We used the heated pool and the hot tub more than anything since it was cold when we were there. The kids had fun and it was nice to be with our family since we don't get to see everyone in one place often. It was just the right size for our family of 14. Didn't feel too crowded. The house was in good condition, no complaints from anyone in our group. And we liked being right across from the beach. My wife & I were able to catch the sunrises in the morning which was nice. We would stay here again and would recommend to others. Thank you, Jedd

Not what we expected

From the moment we walked in, the odd smell foreshadowed the way the rest of the visit. While the pool and outside area were fine and as described, the kitchen was so small only one person could be in it at a time, the furniture was very worn and things looked more like a college dorm rather than a vacation place. The last night a sewer gas smell was horrible and we left early the next morning. Beds were ok and a/c worked fine, yet space was limited nearly everywhere despite the description of it being spacious. Have rented many houses before in the area but this was not one we will return to and don't recommend.

Horrible mold problem

When you walk into the house you are greeted by a horrible stench of mold. My husband is a general contractor and knew immediately that this house had a serious mold problem. On top of it being bad for our health it is also nauseating. If we didn't have a large group we would have tried to find other accommodations. We also had to leave the doors open due to the noxious sewer gas wafting from the bathrooms. Upon returning home i had to febreeze all 6 of my family's suitcases and leave them outside on top of washing everything in each suitcase because they all reek of mold. Had it not been for the mold issue we would have enjoyed this house! Nice pool and game room area. Great for a large group. Not sure how they can fix the mold issue though.

Location is terrific

The house is just as advertised. Great home. A couple of complaints -- the owner will only allow a cancellation if you cancel with 60 days notice. That is not a realistic request. The management company offered to "allow us to pay the amount in full," and not show up. They would then list the property as being available in the hopes that someone else rents it. At the cost of this property, that is not a realistic expectation. The TV's were difficult to work. We could only basically watch Netflix on the TV's. The internet went out while we were there, so no TV at all. While there, a tropical storm was on the way (the day we were leaving.) The management company texted me the day before and asked if we would move all the furniture from the outside to inside the home (while we were still there.)If we could not, they would send someone to do it. Trying to move 25+ pool chairs/loungers into the house is not a realistic request. The hot tub water would not get hot.

Great location terrible house

Unfortunately the pictures' and description of this house were deceiving . The aesthetics and landscape have been poorly cared for. The layout of the house is not conductive for families (perhaps college students). The kitchen is very small and our family likes to cook but the space was limited. . The stove's front burners were either on or off, no heat regulation whatsoever. We had some burnt food. Kitchen cabinets are old and poor condition. The refrigerator was leaking condensation and constantly need to mop up. First floor master bedroom bathroom is a joke. If you weigh more then 200 lbs. you might have a problem getting into the shower. The sliding glass door is very narrow and not squared.. The location , pool , and basketball court are great amenities but the landscaping is overgrown with cockroaches crawling around as inside the house. The house also does not have a pleasant smell. This house needs a complete makeover and new appliances to be worth the price and I paid a pretty penny. Never again.

Disappointing

I know that images online for homes are stretched and manipulated so the property appears bigger, but I have never seen one so far off. The rooms are very much smaller than they appear in the images. The pool slide appeared to be huge and its a baby slide, not meant for adults. The air hockey is a mini air hockey, not all size as it appears. Those are just a couple examples to give you the idea on this. I was also very disappointed with the shape the house was in. Cabinets hanging off hinges, cabinets don't shut properly, no rugs, squished together furniture, and just very cheaply done. One image shows a large door going out to the side yard that is no longer there but you can see in the wall where it used to be. In addition I found a large rat trap beside my bed. Thankfully it was empty, but disturbing to see. If you want a house that can sleep many, has a nice outdoor area of the kids, and you are fine with low end amenities then it will be fine for you, but the mansion and higher end look I saw in the images were not what the house actually is. The property management was spot on, very helpful and made check in and out very easy.
