Es ist ein gehobenes 2-stöckiges Stadthaus mit 2900 Quadratmetern. Die Liegenschaft befindet sich direkt am Strand und verfügt über eine Fülle von Annehmlichkeiten. Gehen Sie von der großen Terrasse mit privatem Pool zum Strand.
Im ersten Stock des Stadthauses befindet sich: Schlafzimmer Nr. 1 (Queen-Himmelbett und ein Schlafsofa mit zwei Zustellbetten - 2 Einzelbetten oder kann in ein Kingsize-Bett umgewandelt werden) und angrenzendes Bad. Voll ausgestattete Küche mit Halbinsel-Theke für 3 Personen, Wohn- und Esszimmer (Tisch für 12 Personen) mit komplettem Unterhaltungssystem und 1/2 Bad.
Im 2. Stock der Casa Familiar befindet sich: Hauptschlafzimmer (Zi. Nr. 2) mit Kingsize-Bett, Vollbad, Ankleideraum und Balkon; Schlafzimmer Nr. 3 Schlafzimmer mit Queensize-Bett und zwei Etagenbetten und zwei Ausziehbetten und Vollbad; Schlafzimmer Nr. 4 mit Queensize-Bett, großem Kinderbett und Vollbad; . Ebenfalls im 2. Stock befinden sich: Waschmaschine & Trockner, Spielzimmer mit lg. Flachbildschirm und großer Wohnbereich im Freien mit Blick auf den Strand. Der Sonnenbereich / das Observatorium im dritten Stock ist über eine Wendeltreppe auf der Außenterrasse im zweiten Stock zugänglich.
Alle Schlafzimmer haben angrenzende Vollbäder.
Das Eigentum ist privat und am Strand mit einem Gatter versehen. Bringen Sie Ihren Laptop mit. Highspeed-Internet ist vorhanden.
Wegen der hohen Nachfrage in der Hauptsaison vermieten wir nur wöchentlich von Samstag bis Samstag.

Excellent family house to make memories with family

It was a great choice we take on renting this marvelous house. It is huge and every space in the house makes you feel welcome. We are a big family and all of us had enough room to enjoy. I highly recommend people to stay here.

Absolutely Perfect!

The house and property are simply perfect! Plenty of space for our large group to spread out when we wanted, coupled with great spaces for being together.It is a very quick walk to the beach. The hosts are generous with the use of beach toys, so you don’t need to bring any for the littles.

Wonderful stay

We thoroughly loved our stay here. The ocean location and view cannot be beat. There were 8 of us (siblings and spouses), and we found the house was so spacious: there are multiple places places to sit and talk. The decor is lovely and the kitchen very well equipped.

There’s peace and tranquil at the beach…

Gathering place was wonderful for our family of 11 adults/2 children. More than enough kitchen items. Don’t need to take a thing except yourself, family, food and clothes. Enjoy!

Perfect Location

Beautiful property directly on the beach. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out with 3 living areas. The YouTube TV was also a huge plus for this sports loving family. All rooms very clean and comfortable. Would have liked better cookware and serving dishes but otherwise kitchen was great. Would definitely stay here again.

The house was beautiful and wonderfully furnished. Enough space in the driveway for our 4 cars!! Kitchen was well supplied and big enough to fit several cooks at one time. The ocean view was spectacular. We had a great time.

Great place to connect with family

Patricia and Timothy were excellent hosts! There was great communication and the property was well stocked for all the amenities that were needed for our 5 day stay. The beach was super nice and very accessible and the pool helped when the day got hot and we needed some shade. All in all we had a 5 star experience.

My family and I absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful home. Sunrise on the 2nd home patio was amazing and home had everything we needed. Home was in a great location and right on the beach. Owner had awesome communication and very accommodating. Would definitely come and stay again. :)

Great week!

Great home! En suite bathrooms were a plus. Great location! Clean, well maintained, great outdoor spaces. Things to know, thermostat controlled by owner, pool not heated, a/c outside main floor is a little loud, grill was not usable. Overall highly recommend!

Amazing business retreat!

We got this house for our business retreat, and it was amazing! Even though it was raining all weekend, the fact that we had two covered balconies-- still allowed us to have meals and meetings outside with the sound of the waves and the cool breeze. Also the home owner was super accommodating, and the house manager was responsive to all our requests in a timely manner. Overall, an amazing home for our retreat! Everyone loved it! 😍

The home was beautiful! Our group was 11 adults. I wanted something with rooms that would accommodate our children add their other halves. This place did exactly that. Everyone had their own bathroom and at least a queen size bed. The sunrise views were amazing. I liked having our own pool and being just steps from the beach. The property was clean and had all basic supplies. The large ice maker was a plus. One thing to note is it didn't have beach towels so make sure to pack some. I would highly recommend renting this property and hope to visit again.

Great Family Week!

What a great week with family! We had stayed at Casa Familiar several years ago and were so pleased with the accommodations but had outgrown one house and decided to stay elsewhere...what a mistake! Needless to say we are now renting both properties and love the beautifully appointed updates exquisitely done! I really love the fact each bedroom has its own bathroom and the boardwalk that takes us directly to the beach. When we're not at the beach, we can enjoy the patio and pool as well as the lulling Gulf breeze. We will definitely go back.

Nice place.

It was a beautiful place. The 2nd floor dryer didn’t work well. It took 3 cycles per load to dry, and the loads were only half size. It heated well, but the blower must not be working properly. We had a bunch of cardboard on one side of the driveway until our 5th day. We shouldn’t have had to drive around it. Also, there was some gunk in the kitchen sink behind the scrubbing dish. The location was perfect however.

Casa Familiar - a beautiful property located on a beautiful beach. First class rental all the way.

We were especially impressed at how well appointed and stocked the condo was with little things that you need for a vacation particularly when you are flying and not driving in. Plenty of beach toys for kids, board games for all ages, (XBox was onsite but u may have to bring your own games or rent them somewhere). Fans in many of the rooms for those of us who like noise reduction, plenty of utensils in the kitchen and we just really never wanted for anything. The property manager and owner are wonderful to work with, accessible and when we had one minor toilet repair issue they had a repairman on site within 20 minutes. You will not believe how great the master suite is in this condo, it's like a mini apartment all on its own. (Think: coffee, mini-fridge, sink, steps from the bed in the morning). Anytime we visit South Padre Island, this would be our go-to place to stay for sure.

Great Great House!

This was a beautiful home, with everything we needed for big and little people alike. The proximity to the beach was fantastic. It allowed us to move back and forth between the beach and the pool with ease which was great as far as keeping the little one entertained. The house was very well equipped. We needed a few more towels which the property manager took care of ASAP. The beds were super comfortable especially the master bedroom. The master bed was exceptional - The only thing I could have asked for was the tv in the master wasn't great and didn't seem to work except to play movies. On the other hand when I'm at the beach in a beautiful house I don't care that much about TV. The guys were able to get the games that were important to them in the living room so everything was good. The little ones were happy with all the games - an epic game of monopoly was held on our only rainy day! My granddaughter found the books and was completely sold. I had to pry Beauty and the beast from her hands each night! This was a great house with everything we needed to have a memorable family gathering. Thanks to both owner and property manager - couldn't have asked for better.

Beautiful beach house but just be aware both sides are NOT identical...

Beach house overall was VERY beautiful and very well maintained. Plenty of space and rooms. Loved the privacy of having your own pool and beach access. Having said all that...there were a few things that bothered me but realize this is just me being knit picky and more an FYI for future renters. When booking be sure to make sure which side you're renting. While very similar, both sides of the house are NOT identical. In every e-mail I had received it kept saying Casa Familiar. When we arrived, we were told we had the adjacent side Casa Vecina. That side was NOT what was in the pictures. No bunk beds, kitchen wasn't white. Outside patio furniture was PVC and NOT the wood pictured. The Master BR did NOT have a mini-kitchen and 55" TV. That side does NOT have an Ultra-bain tub with jets in Master. Again, still a beautiful house, but NOT the super remodeled that was pictured. Neighbors were extremely friendly and having washer/dryer and full kitchen and everyone having their own bath was a HUGE plus. Towels were a bit on the thin side but on a positive note there were a ton of beach toys for the kids as well as brown plastic chairs that were able to be used on the beach as well. Only other knit picky thing I could think of is that we stayed over the weekend and if you're staying in the upstairs bedroom facing the street, you may occasionally hear people in those little golf carts driving by honking for some reason with their loud music blasting. All in all I'd definitely rent again but just be aware when booking you may NOT get what's exactly in the pictures so don't be too shocked when you arrive as you will no doubt have a blast with what's provided.

Presently, I'm a LCSW & a psychiatric APRN but when we purchased Casa Familiar, I was a stay-at-home mom of 9 children, 2 with special needs and foster children. Managing a rental business was a great way to stay at home and work. Technology has made working from anyplace possible.

During Thanksgiving week, 1999, my husband & I loaded up our Suburban with our kids and drove for the first time to a beach directly straight south of Kansas City...arriving in South Padre Island 17 hrs. later. After vacationing in Marco Island, FL, the previous year, we found that SPI was much more family friendly. We all fell in love with it. We were able to find a rundown townhouse, which sat directly on the beach and had been on the market for over a yr. so got a great price, renovated it, & named it Casa Familiar. Since then, we've been renting to some wonderful families for as many as 20 years and others who have stayed several times.
Now that our children are getting married and having children, we've expanded by adding a 3rd floor

There's nothing like real beachfront living...unfortunately, many property owners claim beachfront but are located across the street or even blocks away. The end of the patio is the seawall & the boardwalk takes you to the beach. You can prepare lunch in the kitchen while watching the kids play on the beach and be within shouting distance when they need to come in.
