I Sitoù - Feoun Apartment - the warmth of the fireplace

A house on the edge of the village, the meadow, the forest; the song of crickets and the roar of deer; the stone walls, the vegetable gardens and, up there, Monviso and the starry sky: this is “I Sitoù”.
The house is located in the characteristic hamlet of S. Antonio of Ostana (Miribrart in Occitan), a short distance from the main village: a small village in the Upper Po Valley, nestled on the sun-exposed slope, directly opposite Monviso, which from here can be admired in all its majesty.
The name is intended to recall the Occitan language and the country's tradition: the sitoù were the mowers, but also the group of stars corresponding to the constellation Orion.
Here ancient and modern merge: the house has recently been renovated to create three holiday apartments, with independent entrances, trying to maintain where possible the traditional structures and materials, stone, wood, iron, and, for some details, hemp canvas, but offering modern comfort. A green garden in front of Monviso is available for guests to relax and immerse themselves in nature.
The property can be reached by car; parking is available within a few meters.
In the village, there's an electric car charging station and a cafè with a small shop; a short distance away are several restaurants and a bakery. More shops are located in the neighboring village of Crissolo. The nearest supermarket and other services are located in Paesana (about a 20-minute drive).
In the surrounding area, you can organize various activities: walks along the ancient paths, excursions and trips to the mountains of Ostana or towards Monviso and the source of the Po (about an hour's drive away), to dive into nature, to practice sports or to discover Occitan culture and local traditions.
Further afield, in the lower valley you can visit Saluzzo, the ancient capital of the Marquisate of the same name; the Staffarda Abbey; the 15th-century Manta Castle, and much more!
The Feoun (Alpine Clover) apartment is located on the ground floor: the living area has retained its old brick vault, to which a comfortable fireplace has been added: it is equipped with a sofa and a kitchen complete with appliances. The bedroom offers four beds: a double bed and a bunk bed; there is a wardrobe.
The bathroom has a comfortable shower.
It is suitable for a short stay or a few weeks; ideal for couples, families with children and groups of friends.
Smoking, bringing animals or holding parties are not allowed inside the apartment.
