The lounge has a pair of velvet sofas and a floor lamp for evenings in, and the street stays calm since it isn`t a busy through road. The kitchen is set up for real cooking with an oven and hob, and there`s a washing machine on site, which makes post-walk laundry and longer stays easy to manage.

Location
This corner of Newsome is a quiet residential pocket within easy reach of Huddersfield town and the Colne Valley beyond. It suits walkers and anyone after green space and a bit of history without straying far from town. The town centre and train station are a short bus or taxi ride, with regular buses passing nearby.

Good to Know Before You Book
The flat is on the second floor and there is no lift, so you will be taking the stairs up with your bags. The bedrooms and living areas are carpeted, so shoes off once you are inside. The kitchen sits across two compact spaces rather than one room, with the oven and hob in one and the microwave and washer in the other. Check-in is self-service using the lockbox by the apartment door, and full instructions are sent on the day of arrival. Please keep noise to a minimum in the evenings out of respect for the neighbours.

Extra charges
Early check-in or late check-out can be requested after booking, subject to availability, through a secure third-party platform: 1 hour for £25, or 2 hours for £40.

Booking policy
Guests are required to pay a security deposit of £200 prior to their stay. This is fully refundable pending no damages or excess cleaning being required. This will be a pre-authorisation hold on the card taken at least 24 hours before you check in, and is automatically released within 3 days after check out.

Full payment is due 30 days before arrival and will be automatically charged to the card on file. If payment fails, it must be completed within 24 hours or the booking will be cancelled. Early payment is allowed; card fees up to 3 percent are non-refundable if cancelled.

Cancellation policy
Full refund if cancelled 30 or more days before arrival. Fifty percent refund if cancelled fourteen to thirty days before arrival. No refund if cancelled within fourteen days of arrival.
