Elysium Caved Thymo - Carved from Calm

The Elysium Caved Villas complex unfolds across the hillside above Agia Pelagia, offering sweeping views of Dia Island and the endless blue of the Cretan Sea. The residences are carved like contemporary caves, embedded into the earth, where the architecture seems to emerge naturally from the landscape, creating an atmosphere of tranquility, coolness, and inner serenity, a return to a primordial way of dwelling.
The architecture combines exposed concrete, local stone, weathered steel, wood, and polished cement surfaces, creating a minimalist yet sensuous ambiance. The landscaping, inspired by the native vegetation and aromatic plants of Crete, integrates the essence of the local environment into the everyday living experience.
Light plays a central role, revealing textures, reflections, and carefully crafted details with precision. Water is at the heart of the experience: private infinity pools visually merge with the horizon, while integrated waterfalls create a calm, multisensory atmosphere inspired by ancient Greek water rituals and traditions of wellbeing.


Villa Thymo is inspired by a local aromatic herb and welcomes guests with a signature herbal infusion, connecting them to the spirit of Crete and its culture of hospitality. At Elysium, luxury is expressed through simplicity and intentional design, creating a place where guests can slow down, reconnect, and experience a contemporary sanctuary shaped by nature.


Layout
Stepping into Villa Thymo, guests are welcomed by a bright, open-plan living and kitchen area that opens directly onto the pool terrace, framed by captivating sea views. Designed to comfortably accommodate up to four guests, the villa features two elegant bedrooms and thoughtfully curated indoor and outdoor spaces for a relaxing stay


The living area is furnished with two comfortable sofas and a 65" Samsung Smart TV, a JBL Bluetooth speaker, and a striking architectural feature. Adjacent to the lounge, the fully equipped kitchen includes all modern appliances needed for a seamless and stress-free stay. At the heart of the space, a stylish dining area seats up to six guests.


Created with comfort in mind, both bedrooms are equipped with blackout curtains, bathrobes, slippers, safe deposit boxes, and individually controlled air conditioning. The bathrooms are stocked with premium KORRES self-care products, adding an extra touch of indulgence. For additional convenience, the villa also includes a washer.
The first bedroom features a king-size bed (1.80m x 2.00m), a 50" TV, a spacious wardrobe, and direct access to the pool area. It also includes an ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower.
The second bedroom offers a king-size bed (1.80m x 2.00m), which can be converted into two twin beds (0.90m x 2.00m) upon request. This bedroom also includes a 50" TV, a spacious wardrobe, and an ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower. Guests can additionally enjoy access to a private Cour Anglaise with comfortable seating.


Outdoor Area
The villas outdoor area provides a serene setting with uninterrupted sea views. The private infinity heated swimming pool spans 25 sq.m and has a depth of 1.40m, surrounded by four cushioned sun loungers, one umbrella, an outdoor shower, and a comfortable seating area. An outdoor electric gas ECOGRILL BBQ with ample counter space and a sink creates the ideal setup for alfresco dining, while the adjacent dining table comfortably seats up to six guests. Private parking for two cars is also available on the premises.
The pool can be heated with an additional daily charge for the entire stay and it requires at least one weeks advance notice.
