Made, pronounced "Mathvay" is a tiny village by the sea, about twenty kilometres from the centre of Heraklion. A few notable people live here year round, most keep summer homes. Swimming is good here - the bay is partly protected from the open sea. At the end of the beach bar scuba diving, jet-skis and other water sports are offered. Relax and sunbathe, paint, write and enjoy the beach bar! Made is one of those hidden places, generally quieter than beach areas close to Heraklion, but with the facilities (if you include Lygaria and Agia Pelagia) that make spending days here a pleasure. You can rent a car (recommended) and explore from a pleasing base camp. The beach is kept clean and free of debris during the April-October season. the cordinations for the apartment are 35.399001, 25.034052

The Herakleion center is 10 klm (highway). The port is about 12 klm (highway) and the airport is 14 klm (highway). If you want to explore the place and to visit and others places recommend to rent a car or motorbike. Also there is a bus from Made (Athena Resort and spa Hotel ) to Herakleion and from Herakleion to Made village every day .

The island of Crete has beautiful places such as beaches, gorges, plains and mountainous routes that every visitor should see. we can organize only for you excursions with our own vehicle and visit the most beautiful places of Crete providing you with all the comforts.

Also we can find to you economy rent a car or motorbike.

We recommend you have a car for your transportation and to explore Crete.
