The Old Sorting Office is a stunning property nestled in the heart of Aboyne, a charming village in Royal Deeside on the edge of the Cairngorms National Park. Sleeping up to 6 guests across 3 bedrooms, it’s perfect for families or group getaways. Enjoy a spacious lounge, dining area, study space and fully equipped kitchen. With cafés, shops and restaurants on the doorstep and fantastic walking and cycling routes nearby, it’s the ideal base for exploring Deeside.

The Old Sorting Office, is beautifully restored property, nestled in the heart of Aboyne, a charming village in Royal Deeside on the edge of the Cairngorms National Park. Our home sleeps up to six guests across three luxurious bedrooms.

Upon entering The Old Sorting Office, guests are welcomed into the bright cloakroom, before stepping through the wide glass doorway into the spacious open plan lounge and dining area, with plenty space for everyone to relax and spend time together. Tucked away in a private nook is the study & office space, ideal for those who can’t quite switch off.

Our fully equipped kitchen is also located on the ground floor and is a fantastic space should you wish to cook a delicious meal together or enjoy a takeaway. We have a large double oven, a dishwasher, toaster and of course a kettle to enjoy a cuppa. Separate to the kitchen is the utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer which guests are welcome to use.

Throughout the property there are three bathrooms, including a toilet on the ground floor, one ensuite in the Master Bedroom and another large family bathroom at the top of the stairs.

Upstairs boasts three luxurious bedrooms. Our Master Bedroom features a comfortable King size bed with views of the famous Aboyne Green and an ensuite bathroom, with a rainfall shower. Bedroom 2 has a King size bed with a dressing table and Bedroom 3 has a King size bed.

All of our bedrooms have plenty of space for unpacking and storing items during your stay.

Bath towels, soft bed linens and luxurious toiletries from Fine Scottish Soaps are provided for all guests.

Outside, our property has a large private garden space with luscious grass which can be accessed from both the front and back door, with an outdoor dining area and ample parking. Pets are welcome at The Old Sorting Office, however please note that our garden is not fully enclosed.

The entire property is available for guests to use. The Old Sorting Office is set back from the road located centrally in Aboyne. There is a large driveaway with ample space for up to 3 cars. The beautiful garden to the rear of the property offers a private garden with luscious grass and outdoor dining area, ideal for the warmer weather.

The Old Sorting Office is located in Royal Deeside in the heart of Aberdeenshire and is on the edge of the Cairngorms National Park. There are beautiful local walking and mountain biking routes accessible, with the old Deeside Line cycle path running through Aboyne taking cyclists and walkers along a quiet track to Banchory or Ballater. Shops, supermarkets and amenities are available close by in Aboyne. The Old Sorting Office is a short drive from Banchory, Ballater, Braemar where guests can find fantastic shops, eateries and things to do with the whole family.
