Hosting an all-ground-floor layout with two bedrooms; including a double and a twin, along with a bathroom, this property can sleep up to four guests. There is also a kitchen and a living/dining room with an open fire. Outside there is off-road parking beside the cottage and access to the castle estate. Steading Cottage offers a chance for you and your loved ones to come together in beautiful Aberdeenshire.

Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot available. Off-road parking close to the cottage for 2 cars. Access to the castle grounds. Two well-behaved dogs welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 5.3 miles miles. Note: There is no WiFi at this property and mobile phone reception can be poor. Note: Access is via the front door which has a step, and there are three internal steps down into the living/dining area, the area by the front door is cobbled. Note: Dogs are not allowed on beds or any of the furniture, you may like to bring an old towel to wipe muddy paws. Note: The charging of electric vehicles is not permitted. Note: Fuel for the open fire is not provided, logs and coal are available locally at petrol stations and shops, we kindly ask that you do not collect wood from the estate. Visit the Battle of Alford battleground, or head to nearby Haughton and Murray country park, with Craigievar Castle being well-worth a visit too.
