Greenwich is one of south-east London’s most established and recognisable neighbourhoods, known for its maritime heritage, riverside setting and expansive green spaces. Greenwich Park is a particular highlight, offering elevated views across London, while the surrounding streets are home to a wide range of cafés, restaurants, independent shops and local markets.
The immediate area sits within Deptford, a neighbouring district that has seen ongoing regeneration and benefits from strong transport links. From here, it is easy to reach Greenwich’s key attractions, including the Cutty Sark, Royal Observatory and the Thames Path, as well as central London and Canary Wharf. This location offers a practical base with access to both everyday amenities and some of south-east London’s most well-known cultural and outdoor spaces.
