Villa Monasia is a characteristic and welcoming two-story apartment that is part of an ancient country house made of stone. It sleeps nine people. From Villa Monasia you will enjoy a charming view of the greenery and of the hills. Villa Monasia is 240 square meters (2600 square feet). It features a private swimming pool and a private jacuzzi pool, two private patios, a private garden, air conditioning (please read description below to check in which rooms the units are installed), winter heating and WI-FI Internet access.
You will be roughly 4.5 km (2.8 miles) from Montaione, where you will find restaurants, shops and public transportation. You will find the closest restaurant and a grocery store at 1.5 km (roughly 1 mile) and the bus stop at 900 meters (2950 feet).
You will reach Villa Monasia from the parking area going up a route that includes approximately five stairway steps.
To stay at Villa Monasia you will need a car. You will be able to park it free of charge on the premises. The parking space is suitable for up to three cars. Please note that access to Villa Monasia is along a 250-meter (820-foot) unpaved road.
Villa Monasia is tended by the owner, who resides in another apartment with separate entrance on the premises.

As a guest of Villa Monasia, you'll have the opportunity to pick fruit, vegetables and aromatic herbs from the farm's garden, as well as enjoy fresh eggs laid by the farm's chickens.


Upon request and for a fee, you can also have fresh bread and pastry delivered to your door every morning, or arrange for a private chef, by pre-ordening the services.
Swimming Pool
The swimming pool is 7.5 meters (25 feet) large by 13 meters (42 feet) long, from 1.20 meter (4 feet) to 1.80 meters (6 feet) deep. The swimming pool has a sinuous shape. The area is equipped with a table, chairs, sun umbrellas, deck chairs, sun loungers, a gazebo and an external shower. From the swimming pool you will enjoy a nice view of the greenery. The pool is open from the beginning of April until the end of October.
Patio 1
The first patio is 70 square meters (750 square feet) large. It is partly shaded by a roof. It is equipped with a table and chairs. From the patio you will enjoy a broad view of the greenery. You will share the patio with the owners.
Patio 2
The second patio is 180 square meters (1940 square feet) large. It features an above-ground jacuzzi pool with six seats. It is partly shaded by tall trees. It is equipped with wood benches and with tables, chairs, two deck chairs, a gazebo and a swing. Here you will also find a brickwork barbecue. From the patio you will enjoy a characteristic view of the greenery and of the hills.
Garden
The garden is 300 square meters (3230 square feet). It is partly shaded by tall trees. In the garden you will find a children's playground. From the garden you will have a view of the surrounding hills.
Ground FloorLiving Room
The living room is paved with terracotta tiles. The ceiling is sloped and has characteristic exposed wood beams and terracotta tiles. The furnishings are warm and welcoming, featuring a suspended chandelier, and include two sofas. There is a nice fireplace made of bricks, for decorative purposes only. In this room you will find a satellite television (local channels). The room has a window.
Dining Room
You will be able to enter the dining room from the living room. The furnishings are simple. The dining table can accommodate nine guests. In the dining room you will find a satellite television (local channels). There is a big and age-old fireplace made of stone, for decorative purposes only. The room has a window, and is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.
Kitchen
You will be able to enter the kitchen from the dining room. It is equipped with a four-burner gas cooker, an electric oven, a refrigerator with freezer, a dishwasher, a microwave oven, an Italian-style coffee-maker, an American-style coffee-maker and a kettle. From the kitchen a French door will take you to the second patio. The room also has a small window.
Bedroom 1
You will be able to enter the first bedroom from the kitchen. The bedroom has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/63 inches, wider than a queen-size bed). The room also has two windows, and it's equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.
Bathroom 1
The first bathroom is equipped with a washbasin, a toilet, a fully enclosed shower and a hairdryer. Here you will also find a washing machine, an iron and an ironing board. You will be able to enter the bathroom from the living room and from the kitchen through an access area.
First FloorBedroom 2
You will be able to enter the second bedroom through a corridor. The bedroom has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/63 inches, wider than a queen-size bed). The room has a window, and it's equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.
Bedroom 3
You will be able to enter the third bedroom through a corridor. The bedroom has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/63 inches, wider than a queen-size bed), that can be split into twins if requested (please contact our staff in advance to make arrangements). The room has a window, and it's equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.
Bedroom 4
You will be able to enter the fourth bedroom through a corridor. It has three single beds (80 cm/32 inches). The room has a window, and it's equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.
Bathroom 2
The second bathroom is equipped with a washbasin, a toilet, a shower and a hairdryer. You will be able to enter the bathroom through a corridor.
