Chiado Prime Garrett Apartment

In a historical building from the 20th century, this charming two-bedroom apartment (equipped with double glazed windows) is located in one of Lisbon’s much prized areas, on the corner of Rua Garrett, just next to ''Largo Camões''. The city's best historical sites (the world's oldest bookstore is at the apartment's building!), viewpoints and stores are within walking distance, and public transportation is easily accessible (Baixa-Chiado Metro Station is 190m away).

￫ Building
The building is early 20th century and full of charm! The apartment is on the 3rd floor of a building with elevator (after the first flight of stairs with 22 steps) with lots of natural light, and sweeping views over the street.
Due to its age, the building presents some inherent challenges, such as an outdated plumbing system.

￫ Bedrooms
The apartment has two bedrooms with air conditioner, one with a double bed and the other with two single beds.

￫ Bathrooms
The apartment has two bathrooms, one with shower and the other with bathtub and shower.
Please note that the bathrooms are interior (without windows), so we advise airing out the spaces frequently during your stay to prevent the accumulation of humidity from showers and characteristic odors.

￫ Living Room/Dining Room
The living room has flat screen TV with cable connection, a comfortable sofa, a sofa-bed, air conditioning and a dining table for 6.

￫ Kitchen
The kitchen is fully equipped with washing/drying machine, dishwasher, oven, stove, kettle, toaster and a filter coffee maker (coffee not included).

￫ The property is Self-Catered. Complimentary basic items are provided for your arrival, including first-day toiletries, toilet paper, etc. These items are offered on a welcome basis only - replacements or re-fills are not provided.
￫ Bed and bath linen are provided according to the number of guests confirmed in the reservation. For stays longer than 7 nights, additional bed and bath linen will be provided for free at the check-in.
￫ The Cleaning Fee included in your reservation covers the check-out cleaning only. Extra cleanings or fresh linens can be requested during your stay and are subject to an extra fee - these requests must be done with at least 24 hours in advance.
￫ Check-in time starts from 15:00 to 22:00 (additional cost of 25€ for check-ins after 22:00). Only one set of keys will be provided.
￫ We are obligated by Portuguese law to collect our guest's Passport information.
￫ Check-out must be done until 11am. Before leaving, please place the keys on the main table.
￫ During the stay, the guest is responsible for the safekeeping and proper use of the property's keys. Please avoid leaving them in the lock or mailbox. In the event that a specialized technician is needed for door opening or in case of damage to the key and/or lock, the costs associated with this service will be the responsibility of the guest. In case of key loss, a penalty will be applied.
￫ The property is equipped with noise decibel monitoring sensors. This system performs advanced analysis while ensuring the privacy of our guests, as no cameras are used, and no sound is recorded. Only noise levels are measured, thus guaranteeing the tranquility and comfort of everyone during their stay.
￫ Crib and baby chair are available upon request and subject to an extra fee.
￫ For stays equal to or longer than 28 days, monthly consumptions exceeding €150 will be charged separately. By making the reservation, the guest agrees to these terms.
￫ Construction work is going on in the surroundings of the building with no timetable for completion.

CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT.:

- Please confirm your check-in time as soon as possible so we can arrange everything specially for you.
- Flexible check-in and check-out are available upon request, but only if the property is available. These requests must be done in advance.
- Late Check-In Fee.: 25€ after 22h00.
- Late Check-Out Fee.: A later check-out between 11h00 and 17h00 is possible if the property is available, but it’s subject to a payment of a 25€ fee.
- Early Check-In Fee.: An early check-in between 08h00 and 15h00 is possible if the property is available, but it’s subject to a payment of a 25€ fee.


CLEANING and LAUNDRY.:

- Bedding Sets and Towels are provided according with the number of guests.
- The Cleaning Fee covers the check-in/check-out cleaning only.
- For longer stays it's possible to arrange extra cleanings (with an additional cost).
- For stays longer than 7 nights, extra linen will be provided.
- The apartment is always cleaned by a professional cleaning service. If there's something that doesn't meet your standards, please contact us.


OTHER RULES.:

- Make sure you are up-to-date on travel restrictions/requirements. We may ask for additional documentation according to government guidelines.
- Children’s High Chair and Baby Crib available by request (extra cost of 25€/week).
- The silent period in Portugal is between 22h00 and 08h00, and night rest period must be respected. The apartment is in a residential area and you should be aware that social events and other activities that might disturb the neighbors are prohibited.
- During the stay, the guest is responsible for the safekeeping and proper use of the property's keys. Please avoid leaving them in the lock or mailbox. In the event that a specialized technician is needed for door opening or in case of damage to the key and/or lock, the costs associated with this service will be the responsibility of the guest. In case of key loss, a penalty will be applied.
- As a city in continuous modernization, renovation works may occur in the vicinity of the building without prior notice. We would also like to remind you that the property is located in a residential building, where conservation or renovation works may take place during your stay.
