A cozy and welcoming apartment of an antique house of Sintra, with a fantastic view over the village. Located halfway between the historical town and the main monuments like the Pena Palace and the Moorish Castle, the apartment is a few steps away from public transports, markets and just 30 minutes away from Lisbon and 20 from Cascais.

It's the perfect retreat for couples, families or friends after a busy day of sightseeing the charming and mysterious Sintra!

→ Building
The apartment was totally refurbished with great style and standards in 2017, including a central air conditioning that provides great comfort throughout the year. It has a wonderful view over Sintra and is surrounded by charismatic neighbours. Ideal for couples, a family or group of friends who want peace and quiet in the most beautiful village of Portugal.

As it is located in a mountainous area with a maritime influence, the charming town of Sintra has its own micro-climate, with plenty of humidity. This building has the characteristics typical of old buildings in the area, such as humidity and poor soundproofing. The apartment sometimes has a characteristic odor, so we recommend that the space is properly ventilated during your stay.

→ The property is Self-Catered. Complimentary basic items are provided for your arrival, including first-day toiletries, toilet paper, etc. These items are offered on a welcome basis only - replacements or re-fills are not provided. All other items must be acquired by the guest.
→ Bed and bath linen are provided according to the number of guests confirmed in the reservation. For stays longer than 7 nights, additional bed and bath linen will be provided for free at the check-in.
→ The Cleaning Fee included in your reservation covers the check-out cleaning only. Extra cleanings or fresh linens can be requested during your stay and are subject to an extra fee - these requests must be done with at least 24 hours in advance.
→ Check-in time starts at 15:00. Only one set of keys will be provided.
→ We are obligated by Portuguese law to collect our guest's Passport information.
→ Check-out must be done until 11am. Before leaving, please place the keys on the lockbox.
→ During the stay, the guest is responsible for the safekeeping and proper use of the property's keys. Please avoid leaving them in the lock or mailbox. In the event that a specialized technician is needed for door opening or in case of damage to the key and/or lock, the costs associated with this service will be the responsibility of the guest. In case of key loss, a penalty will be applied.
→ Crib and baby chair are available upon request and subject to an extra fee of 25€.
→ In order to ensure your safety and in accordance with Covid-19 best practices, our properties are always cleaned by a professional cleaning service.
→ For stays equal to or longer than 28 days, monthly consumptions exceeding €150 will be charged separately. By making the reservation, the guest agrees to these terms.

CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT.:

- To avoid any delays, please inform us your flight number and the estimated time of arrival at the apartment with at least 48 hours in advance.
- Flexible check-in and check-out are available upon request, but only if the property is available. These requests must be done in advance.
- Late Check-Out Fee.: A later check-out between 11h00 and 17h00 is possible if the property is available, but it’s subject to a payment of a 25€ fee.
- Early Check-In Fee.: An early check-in between 08h00 and 15h00 is possible if the property is available, but it’s subject to a payment of a 25€ fee.


CLEANING and LAUNDRY.:

- Bed and bath linen are provided according to the number of guests confirmed in the reservation. For longer stays, fresh linens are provided on a weekly basis.
- The Cleaning Fee included in your reservation covers the check-out cleaning only. Extra cleanings or fresh linens can be requested during your stay and are subject to an extra fee - these requests must be done with at least 24 hours in advance.
- The apartment is always cleaned by a professional cleaning service. If there's something that doesn't meet your standards, please contact us.


OTHER RULES.:

- Make sure you are up-to-date on travel restrictions/requirements. We may ask for additional documentation according to government guidelines.
- Crib and baby chair are available upon request and subject to an extra fee.
- The silent period in Portugal is between 22h00 and 08h00, and night rest period must be respected. The apartment is in a residential area and you should be aware that social events and other activities that might disturb the neighbours are strictly prohibited.
- For your own security, please make sure you lock the door and all the windows before you leave the apartment. During the night all windows must be closed. BnBird Homes is not responsible for guest’s personal belongings, in any case.
- You must notify our team of any damage to the accommodation which occurs during your stay, even if you regard the damages as minor or not your fault.
- During the stay, the guest is responsible for the safekeeping and proper use of the property's keys. Please avoid leaving them in the lock or mailbox. In the event that a specialized technician is needed for door opening or in case of damage to the key and/or lock, the costs associated with this service will be the responsibility of the guest. In case of key loss, a penalty will be applied.
- As a city in continuous modernization, renovation works may occur in the vicinity of the building without prior notice. We would also like to remind you that the property is located in a residential building, where conservation or renovation works may take place during your stay.
