Introducing our new luxury ski chalet Bliss, an alpine gem offering an unparalleled retreat for both adventure enthusiasts and those seeking ultra-relaxation. This recently built (2021) stunning 4-bedroom, 4-bathroom chalet spans across three levels of opulent living, providing a fusion of rustic charm and modern elegance. Situated on the sunny slopes of Les Granges, a hamlet of Montriond in the heart of the Portes du Soleil, Chalet Bliss is a perfect haven, just 10 minutes by car from the slopes. The moment you step inside, you'll appreciate the lovely warm ambiance, with the real fireplace and craftsman wooden finishes. From the main floor, the living spaces unfold before you in a symphony of luxury and comfort. Expansive windows frame breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding peaks. On the lower level, a captivating fish-eye sauna beckons you to unwind and rejuvenate after an exhilarating day on the slopes. Near the front door, nestled in the terraced garden, an outdoor hot tub invites you to soak in the crisp mountain air.

The centrepiece is the double-height lounge and dining space, with super-comfortable designer sofa and armchairs, and views to die for. In the same space is the state-of-the-art kitchen, with top-tier appliances, sleek countertops, and ample space for meal preparation. Share delicious meals with your family and friends in the elegant dining area, then retire to the plush sofas of the living room, swapping stories and laughter by the warm glow of the fire. With four thoughtfully designed bedrooms, each with its own luxury en-suite bathroom, privacy and tranquillity are ensured for every guest.

All bedrooms except for the master bedroom can be made as 2 full-size singles or a super-king. There are two bedrooms on the top floor, one of which has an inset balcony with majestic views across the valley to the Roc d’Enfer, and two bedrooms on the bottom floor, one of which has direct access out on to the garden terrace. There is also a mezzanine floor with additional single futon beds if needed to help sleeping arrangements, but this is not suitable for children as access is up a ladder from the lounge.

Outside, an ample garden invites you to embrace the outdoors in all seasons. During the winter, watch the snow blanket the landscape in pristine white; in the summer, revel in the vibrant greens and purple of the wisteria. The convenience of a heated driveway ensures effortless arrivals and departures, while a dedicated ski storage area keeps your gear organized and ready for action. When you book Chalet Bliss you'll have access to the whole chalet, the ski room, the sauna and the hot tub. You'll be able to park your car(s) on the driveway but not under cover.

Chalet Bliss is situated in a quiet residential part of Montriond (Les Granges). It is essential to have your own transport while staying here, winter and summer. In the main winter and summer seasons there is a free "navette" bus line (M-bis line) which stops 50m from the chalet and takes 10 minutes to get to the Ardent telecabine. It's relatively easy and flat to walk along the river path from the chalet into Morzine in the summer - it's a 45 minute walk or 15 min bike ride (3.5km). You can also walk to the shops and bars in Montriond village - it's 1km, 15 min walk, and you can walk to "The Woodyard" Ibex bar and brewery in 14 mins (900m). There's ample parking at the chalet (2 cars right by the chalet, and spaces for another 2 just up a flight of steps, over the garage). We do recommend you have your own vehicles.

We're available by email or phone from the moment you book, and we can give you information on all the resort facilities and services. I (Rachel) will be the person who checks you in on arrival and will probably be the one that checks you out too - I live 10 mins down the road . We've been running Mountain Highs for 30 years now so we've amassed a wealth of knowledge about Morzine, the local and the wider areas! *

IMPORTANT: DAMAGE DEPOSIT. We take a €500 Damage Deposit prior to your arrival. This can be paid via credit / debit card or bank transfer (Revolut preferred). We refund this deposit within 3 days of your departure. It is also possible to pay by French cheque. We will hold the Damage deposit until we have received the keys back and have been able to properly check the property. In winter (14 Dec - 22 April) the end of stay cleaning is included in the rate. For all the rest of the year, when rates are very much lower we charge a cleaning fee of 200 Eur payable on arrival. This simply covers the wages of the cleaning team.

Geneva Airport transfers: We operate our own airport transfer service in our licensed taxi minibus, which seats max 8 passengers in comfort with plenty of luggage space (VW Caravelle 4 x 4 long wheel base). We can offer shared transfers or private transfers, always door-to-door (unlike some transfer services who will drop you at the bus station!) – contact us for a competitive quote (Prices range from €95 per person return based on 4 travelling together, down to €66pp return for 8 travelling together) / €530 for a private transfer.



Lift pass purchase (Skiing or biking): We are able to arrange your lift passes in advance of your stay, so that they’re ready on your arrival at the apartment. We can take payment for these by credit card or bank transfer in advance, or cash on arrival in resort. We offer lower rates on area (Portes du Soleil) and local (Morzine - Les Gets) passes than you can buy in resort. For rates for your chosen stay, contact us.



Help with arranging child care or babysitting: we have contacts with the in-resort childcare companies and can make the initial enquiries for you. For ad-hoc babysitting we have a list of trusted contacts and can put you in touch with them after you have booked.



Start-up grocery shopping: for those arriving too late to be able to buy supplies on your first day, or if you’re arriving by airport transfer, if you contact us with your shopping list with 2 days’ advance notice, we can purchase and deliver your first days’ groceries for you, with a small charge of €20.



Full or part-catered service: we work with several highly recommended freelance caterers who can provide a combination of breakfasts, afternoon tea, daily cleaning, children's suppers and adults 3 or 4 course dinner with or without wine included, and also a dinner delivery service.
