Stroll along the River Derwent in Matlock Bath and take the cable car up the wooded hillside to the popular Heights of Abraham, offering magnificent views across the valley. Take a trip through time across the open countryside on a vintage tram at Crich Tramway Village (5.5 miles) and visit Haddon Hall or Chatsworth House (both within 9.5 miles).
