Take the six steps up and into this lovely property, and you’ll find yourself in a large lounge/diner. Gather round the dining table tucked in the corner, and afterwards lounge on the comfortable seating and enjoy a sociable evening, perhaps with a show on the Smart TV. The kitchen is another bright and generously sized space, and includes a breakfast bar and all the equipment you’ll need for creating delicious holiday meals. You’ll also find a handy ground-floor family bathroom. Head up the stairs for the bedrooms – with some low, sloping ceilings, exposed beams and internal steps. Full of character, they all have ample storage and, while one of the doubles has an en-suite, there’s a family bathroom on this floor, too. Let children and pets play in the enclosed, lawned back garden (reached via steps from the patio), where there’s a picnic set for al fresco dining and an ornamental well. To the front, you have a raised terrace with rural views, furnished for both dining and relaxing, and you’re also welcome to use the shared playing field, BBQ and fire pit. There’s parking for two cars on a shared driveway.

Set within the hamlet of Lovestone, the cottage is perfectly placed for trips to the glorious beaches of Saundersfoot (more sedate) and Tenby (more bustling) – both within 7.5 miles. For a family day out, try Folly Farm Adventure Park and Zoo or Oakwood Theme Park, both less than 4.5 miles.
