Watergate Bay boasts a large stretch of golden sand and plenty of opportunities for water sports. Walkers are blessed, as the South West Coast Path passes the property and leads ramblers to the likes of Mawgan Porth and Porthcothan (both within 5 miles). No trip to this corner of Cornwall is complete without time spent in Newquay – the surf capital of Cornwall where water sports equipment hire, seaside attractions, independent shops, restaurants and pubs, and plenty of annual events await. Further along the coastline, explore the Trevose Head Heritage Coast (7 miles), a scenic area with hidden coves and secret beaches, or head to charming Padstow (10 miles) to uncover its famous seafood restaurants and bustling harbour.
