Two separate living rooms mean it works just as well for two couples as it does for a family. The Space:

Limoncello has a point of view. The Malta Shipping Co. feature wall sets the tone from the moment you walk in: bold stencilled typography against genuine Maltese limestone that has been part of this city for centuries. The contrast between raw stone and saturated yellow is the kind of thing phones come out for immediately.

The open-plan living and dining area is relaxed and sociable, with artwork, a comfortable sofa, and enough room to properly spread out. A lemon tree greets you just outside, small enough to seem accidental, considered enough not to be.

Both bedrooms open into their own private living room, each with a flatscreen TV, plush seating, and a walk-in wardrobe. The sofa bed accommodates up to two additional guests if the group grows to six.

The bathrooms lean into the yellow with full conviction: statement sinks, warm lighting, a full bath for slow evenings, and a disco shower you step out of onto grass rather than a bathmat. Why would you do it any other way. The layout is thoughtful enough that a 2am bathroom run doesn't require navigating anyone else's room, which matters more than it sounds when you are sleeping six.

The kitchen is compact and considered. A Nespresso machine, smoothie station, and modern appliances handle everything from a quick espresso before a morning walk to a full breakfast before the beach. There is a washing machine for longer stays, free Wi-Fi throughout, and full air conditioning and heating year-round. Lockbox self-check-in means no coordinating arrivals around anyone else's schedule.

Guests have full private access to the entire apartment throughout their stay, including both bedrooms, two bathrooms, the open-plan living and dining area, kitchen, washing machine, and Wi-Fi. Air conditioning and heating are individually controlled for year-round comfort. The single-level layout means both bathrooms are accessible without passing through either bedroom, a detail that makes a real difference for groups.



The Neighborhood:

There are central locations, and then there is this one. Valletta is Malta's UNESCO-listed capital and one of the smallest in Europe, which means almost everything worth seeing is on foot from the front door. The Grand Harbour overlooks some of the most dramatic waterfront in the Mediterranean. Republic Street connects you to markets, galleries, and cafes that don't rush you out. Strait Street, once the city's legendary sailor strip, is now its most interesting dining and bar corridor. Tribe, Guze Bistro, and Sotto Pizzeria are the neighbourhood regulars for food worth sitting down for.



Getting Around:

The Valletta bus terminus is a short walk from the apartment, connecting you to the airport, St. Julian's, Mdina, and the rest of the island. The city itself is best covered on foot. Free street parking is available nearby for those arriving by car.
