At Home in Madrid I, Centro de Madrid

The apartment is very nice. Just like the photos. It's fantastically located in the Literary Quarter, right next to Plaza de Santa Ana. Very close to the museums, Plaza Mayor, Plaza del Sol, and Atocha. We have 5 apartments in the same building. The apartment is very bright and very well maintained. It has a very comfortable queen-size bed (160 cm), and the living room has two sofas that convert into beds. The kitchen is fully equipped in case you want to have dinner at home one day. It has a washer/dryer. I like people to feel at home. I'll give them my phone number so they can contact me if they have any questions. I speak several languages and I like the people. I think you'll be very comfortable here. We're in the heart of Madrid. Right in the Literary Quarter. One of the most beautiful and romantic areas of Madrid. You can walk everywhere. The museums, Retiro Park, Sol, Plaza Mayor, and San Miguel Market. If you want to go to Toledo, it's only 33 minutes away on the AVE (high-speed train) that leaves from Atocha. There are tons of restaurants and bars around. It's a perfect location! There's a metro station less than a 5-minute walk away. There's a taxi stand right on the corner. The nearest public parking is "Parking de Santa Ana," just below the square around the corner. From the airport to the apartment: Taxi: From the airport by taxi, it takes about 30 minutes and costs 30 euros. It's a flat rate to the city. This would be the easiest and fastest way. TRAIN (Cercanías): If you arrive at Terminal 4, you can take the direct train (Cercanías) to Atocha, line C1. BUS: Regardless of which terminal you arrive at, you can take the Yellow Express Bus from the Airport that takes you to Atocha Train Station. From Atocha Train Station to the apartment: TAXI: From Atocha Train Station, it's a very short taxi ride, about 5-10 minutes. If you prefer to walk, it's about 15 minutes to the apartment. METRO: From Atocha Train Station, you can take the metro to Antón Martín, which is 2 stops away. From there, it's less than 3 minutes walk to the apartment.
