Best location, right in the center of Madrid! In the famous "Barrio de las Letras" - the literary neighborhood. Beautiful, clean apartment with lots of light in a historic building with elevator. Centrally-located with short walking distance (<10 mins) to all the major museums, Plaza Mayor, Royal Place, Puerta del Sol, Gran Via, Parque del Retiro, Atocha train station, etc. This apartment is facing a beautiful and peaceful courtyard. You will love the apartment and our location! This is a beautiful apartment on a very popular street in Madrid, right by Plaza de Santa Ana in the Barrio de las Letras - where Cervantes was born. It's in a beautiful, historic building that has been remodeled and is all new inside with a modern elevator. We are also surrounded by great restaurants and cafes. The apartment/loft is an open space, just like it shows in the photos. It has a very comfortable king size bed, and it also has a sofa bed. I have had many guests and most of them, when they arrive, say that it looks just like the pictures. We have modern appliances (washer/dryer, stovetop, microwave, A/C, TV, refridgerator), fast Wi-Fi, and everything else you may need for a comfortable stay! Guests will have private access to the whole apartment. I like to make myself available for my guests. I also give them my phone number and they can always reach me in case they need something or have any questions. We are in Barrio de las Letras, the Literary Neighborhood, home of Cervantes who wrote "El Quijote". Walk down our Calle de Huertas and in 10 minutes you will be at the Prado or the Thyssen Museum. Plaza de Santa Ana is around the corner and Plaza Mayor and Puerta del Sol are only 5 minutes away. You will be in the center of everything. We are on a pedestrian street where only taxis and permitted cars can go in. You will be able to walk to almost any place that you would like to go. Anton Martin metro station is less then 5 min walking away and there is a Taxi stand around the corner from us. Parking de Santa Ana is a Public Parking Garage 2 min away. If you stay for more then 3 days, they have special prices. We look forward to hosting you! Check in is between 1pm and 9pm and check out is at 11am. We want to avoid late check ins to ensure peace and quiet for my neighbors, as I want to respect them. We always try to make it easy for our guests! We meet each guest in-person when first checking in. If guests arrive early, we can keep your bags in the building while you explore the city. We understand that sometimes flights can get delayed - if this happens and guests arrive after 9pm, I would kindly ask you to give Alicia or Nisbeth 30 euros, as a thank you for staying up late. Please note that this doesn’t apply if you book a flight that you know in advance lands late in the evening. Gracias!
