At Home in Madrid IX, Trendy Chueca, Prado,GranVia

The apartment is in Chueca, one of the nicest and trendiest neighborhoods in Madrid. Walk to the main street, Gran Via. It's near the Prado, Puerta del Sol and Parque del Retiro. It's surrounded by wonderful places to have tapas and a glass of wine. The apartment has 2 bedrooms, one with a king size bed (180cm) and a smaller bedroom with a queen size bed (150cm). It also has a sofabed in the living room that can fit 2 people. We have a full kitchen with all you need to make your own meals. There is also a dining room. The pictures show it all very well. It looks into a patio and has lots of light. It is also very quiet for the people that are more sensitive to noise. The elevator stops between floors, so please note that you must be able to climb or go down a hand-full of steps. I have had many guests and most of them, when they arrive, say that it looks just like the pictures. We have modern appliances (washer, stovetop, microwave, A/C, TV, refridgerator), fast Wi-Fi, and everything else you may need for a comfortable stay! Guests will have private access to the whole apartment. I like to make myself available for my guests. I also give them my phone number and they can always reach me in case they need something or have any questions. The apartment is in Chueca, one of the nicest and trendiest neighborhoods in Madrid. It's very close to the Prado, the Reina Sofia and the Thyssen Museums. From the AIRPORT to the apartment: TAXI: From the airport by taxi, it's about 30 minutes and it costs 30 euros. It's a flat fee into the city. This would be the easiest and fastest way. TRAIN (Cercanías): If you arrive to T4, you can take the direct train (cercanías) to atocha, the C1 line. BUS: No matter what terminal you arrive to, you can take the Yellow Express Airport Bus that takes you to the Atocha Train Station. From ATOCHA Train Station to the apartment: TAXI: From the Atocha Train Station, it's a very short taxi ride, around 5-10 minutes. METRO: The nearest metro station is Chueca. The nearest public parking garage is "Parking de Augusto Figueroa." We look forward to hosting you! Check in is between 1pm and 9pm and check out is at 11am. We want to avoid late check ins to ensure peace and quiet for my neighbors, as I want to respect them. We always try to make it easy for our guests! We meet each guest in-person when first checking in. If guests arrive early, we can keep your bags in the building while you explore the city. We understand that sometimes flights can get delayed - if this happens and guests arrive after 9pm, I would kindly ask you to give Alicia or Nisbeth 30 euros, as a thank you for staying up late. Please note that this doesn’t apply if you book a flight that you know in advance lands late in the evening. Gracias!
