Benoit, the owner of the B&B, owns Champagne Fernand Lemaire. It's a family business that's been going for four generations. The winery is located just down the road from the gîte, in the emblematic 1er Cru village of Hautvillers.

This independent winegrower owns 6 hectares of vines and 21 plots, cultivates the 3 main Champagne grape varieties and offers 7 cuvées for tasting.

Come and enjoy a unique experience, combining a stay at the gîte with a visit to the winery. You can book a tour of the cellars and a visit to a vertical press dating from 1960, followed by a tasting session.

Hautvillers is a picturesque village that has preserved its authentic streets and wrought-iron shop signs.

The forest is just around the corner, and with its countless signposted hiking trails, you can explore this vast region on foot or by bike. There's even a tourist office in the village, with plenty of suggestions for activities, including classic and electric bike rentals.

Stay in the heart of Hautvillers, an iconic village in Champagne and the birthplace of Dom Pérignon, in a charming cottage surrounded by nature, ideal for getting together and slowing down.

For stays between 15 January and 15 March, early arrival or late departure may be offered, subject to availability, so you can make the most of your off-season getaway.

The cottage can accommodate up to 6 people, but is ideally designed for 4, with a single bathroom including a toilet. This layout is perfect for families or groups who are happy to share this space.
