Retreat from the world in sought after Pett Level Beach. It's a small quiet community completely centred around the beach which is quiet even in peak periods and the well known location of several music videos including David Bowies Ashes to Ashes. This house, which sleeps 8, is set back from the road that runs by the beach, on the banks of the canal, facing the beach slip way. With a huge wrap around garden and plenty of parking this is the perfect family beach holiday getaway with space for the kids and dogs to unwind and play in the garden whilst you prepare the BBQ after a relaxing day at the beach. There's a lovely friendly atmosphere locally and you'll soon make lifelong friends for your summer holidays if you wish to return year after year -many guests do! The house is spacious enough to be suitable for 1 big family, 2 small families sharing or a multi generational holiday since we boast one downstairs bathroom and bedroom. Now under owner management.

Pett Level Beach, the beach community where I live in the UK is tranquil and unique, a small strip of houses on an amazingly quiet rural beach and much sought after for family beach holidays. Some people return year after year.
You have the sea in front of you and in the fields behind are sheep grazing peacefully. It's a unique beach set up, very community orientated where we all know each other. Most people locally have dogs or come here to walk their dogs hence we allow up to 2 dogs in the house and we are confident that dog owners will have a particularly fantastic holiday here.

I used to occasionally rent out my own house for beach holidays, which is right on the beach, but now I have bought this one just across the road, facing the slipway to the beach, on the banks of the canal. It is larger and has a much larger garden to relax and unwind in after long beach days and a larger entertaining space for unwinding. It is also quieter than being right on the beachfront. you feel immersed in nature in the garden.
What is also handy about the house is that it has one bedroom and one bathroom downstairs so is brilliant for anyone who finds stairs difficult or if you need a multi generational holiday since older family members can stay very comfortably downstairs.
Although a new venture we hope to host lots of guests here and hope they will return year after year for their annual beach holiday. We have been fully booked this summer as a new venture using agents, but the house is now under owner management, and, following guest feedback during the summer, we have made quite a few repairs and changes and are now fully open again for bookings for the Christmas (December onwards) period onwards and advance booking for all future dates. We hope you will enjoy the area and the house!
