Welcome to my charming first floor annexe above my home, nestled in a peaceful village 5 miles from Soho Farmhouse.
Head upstairs onto the bright landing with dining/workspace area. The living room with kitchenette has all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. Relax in the cosy king-size bedroom with separate bathroom completing the picture.
Ideal for couples looking for a quiet break or contractors wanting a peaceful work stay with access to local attractions and transport links.
The space
The apartment is accessed via your own private entrance located at street level. Head through the front door with stairs leading straight up into the apartment - there's even your own private downstairs loo on the left!
Upstairs, the living room features 2 comfy armchairs and Smart TV with all the usual streaming apps (subscriptions required). The kitchenette area is ideal for cooking essentials with a combi oven/microwave, dual electric hob, fridge (with ice box), kettle & toaster.
On the landing there's a separate dining area for two with Velux window above, filling the space with natural light, which also makes a perfect spot for home working.
At the end of the landing is the cosy king-size bedroom with blackout blinds, offering a chest of drawers and coat rack for storage. There is additional hanging storage in the hallway cupboard for your convenience.
The separate full-size bathroom boasts a bath with large rain shower overhead, sink & WC.
Although there is no private outdoor space at the apartment, just across the road is a lovely large open grassy park with benches for you to sit and enjoy during the day or on warmer evenings.
Outside, there's one private parking space for guests directly behind the property in the Village Hall car park, with additional parking on the street.
The pretty village of Wiggington is conveniently located close to the A361 with direct links to Chipping Norton, Banbury and the M40. Soho Farmhouse is only 5 miles away and there are two fantastic country gastropubs less than 2 miles away.
The Old Reading Room is also a perfect base for exploring the Cotswolds, with the popular towns of Stow-on-the-Wold and Moreton-in-Marsh less than 25 minutes away.

Guests have full & private access to the first-floor apartment as described, which is located above my home.
Other things to note
Although the apartment is attached to my main home, it is extremely quiet with no children or pets living here so you will not be disturbed.
Strictly no parties allowed. Please observe our quiet hours from 10pm to 7am.

Parking for one car in the village hall car park beside the rear of the property - please provide your registration number and make/model in advance. Please park close to the property on the left. You will also need to display a notice in your vehicle while it’s in the car park - the notice can be found on the chair inside the front door. This is at the request of the village hall committee, thank you.
Additional parking is available on the road next to the apartment, you will need to park partly on the pavement to avoid blocking the road.
The central heating is controlled by my main home. There are thermostats on each radiator and there is a portable heater supplied for your comfort. There is also a fan for the warmer days & nights.
Please be advised, there is no washing machine at the apartment.
Mid-stay cleans/linen replacement for longer stays can be organised for an additional cost.
We can supply a travel cot & high chair for an additional cost of £25 per stay, please kindly request these at the time of booking. Please bring your own bedding for the travel cot.
Linen, towels & toiletries are provided along with a welcome pack including tea/coffee/sugar/milk sachets and snacks.

IMPORTANT: On behalf of our host at Pass the Keys, we require guest verification facilitated by Truvi (Previously called Superhog). Upon confirming your booking, Truvi will contact the lead booker via a secure link, providing detailed instructions for the verification process.
The online verification requires a government-issued photo ID and a credit or debit card. During this process, you may choose between a refundable GBP 500 deposit (plus GBP 10 transaction fee currency equivalent) or purchase a non-refundable damage waiver of GBP 40 (currency equivalent) to cover potential damages during your stay.
Once the verification process is successfully completed, check-in information will be provided. If you opted in for a deposit, this will be refunded via credit/debit card after your stay, subject to an inspection of the property.
