Littlestock Shepherd's Hut near Burford is a picture-perfect retreat which sleeps two guests, in an open-plan living area, with a shower room. Nestled within a tranquil meadow, this beautifully presented bolthole features a comfy double bed, a cosy wood burning stove and a compact mini kitchen, which provides space to rustle up brunch that you can enjoy in the private outside sitting area, which looks out across the idyllic Cotswold countryside and beyond. This one bedroom hut in Shipton-under-Wychwood is perfect for a romantic getaway in the heart of the countryside. Steps lead up to the shepherd's hut, and then the single storey accommodation is laid out as follows:

The shepherd's hut is located within a tranquil enclosed meadow with a mowed grass area directly outside the hut, home to small rattan sofa, parasol, foot stool, two chairs and a small table, plus a firepit.

The maximum occupancy for this property is 2 guests. Infants do not count towards the occupancy figure, however, due to space restrictions the occupancy can only be exceeded by 1 additional infant (aged 2 or under)

Travel cots are not provided, so guests will need to bring these with them

Throughout the year, the meadow is periodically home to local sheep which graze on the grass. An electric fence is active at the bottom of the meadow when the sheep are in residence
This property is not connected to the mains water supply, water is therefore provided via a well, with the drinking water filtered and UV sterilised. Bottled water is provided, if preferred
This property has a biodigester and no product other than toilet paper should be flushed down the loo at any time
