River Lofts Condo "the Biker" am Fluss im historischen Viertel von Salida

We (Anneke and Matthijs are from the Netherlands. We visited this area in 1992 for the first time and instantly fell in love with the beauty of the Southern Colorado mountains and the Arkansas River. We then moved to the South of Colorado in 2004. We specifically love Salida, a bustling little town about three hours southwest of Denver. It is a real adventurer’s paradise that has created a climate ripe for year-round outdoor sports, including biking, skiing, kayaking, and—what the city is best known for—white-water rafting. Each year, Salida hosts FIBArk on the Arkansas River, the oldest white-water festival in the country. The town has been gaining just as much attention for its burgeoning arts scene. Blocks lined with colorful Victorian buildings make up the largest historical district in Colorado. Our Condo is in a new building that has been designed to perfectly fit in this historic setting, next to the boat ramp to the river and the historic SteamPlant event center. We hope you enjoy our Condo "the Biker" and Salida with all its restaurants, parks and river activities just steps away from the front door.

We bought this property because of it's prime location in the heart of Salida's historic district on the Arkansas river and next to the Steam Plant event center where many exciting events are being organized. Many restaurants are just a few steps away. Eventually we want to retire in Salida and enjoy all the activities and the beautiful environment.
