EINTRAG
Die Wohnung ist über eine Gasse von der Seite des Haupthauses und über den Seitenhof (der sich derzeit in Arbeit befindet) zugänglich. Die Wohnung hat einen eigenen separaten Eingang. Sobald Sie die Tür öffnen, steigen Sie die Treppe hinauf in den zweiten Stock des Hauses.

ZWEITER STOCK LEVEL / HAUPTWOHNUNGSBEREICH
Der Hauptbereich umfasst ein großes offenes Wohnzimmer mit moderner Kunst und einer geschmackvollen Kombination aus echten Möbeln aus der Mitte des 20. Jahrhunderts und Antiquitäten aus dem 19. Jahrhundert sowie einigen modernen Ergänzungen. Das Wohnzimmer verfügt über ein Joybird-Schlafsofa mit einer Queen-Size-Memory-Foam-Matratze und einem Flachbild-TV. Die offene Küche ist komplett mit einer geretteten Zypresseninsel ausgestattet, die bequem Platz für zwei bietet, einem Wolf-Gasherd / -ofen, 2 Spülmaschinenfächern, einem Bauernspülbecken und vielen Schränken, die mit Ihren grundlegenden Kochanforderungen bestückt sind. Hinter der Küche befindet sich die Speisekammer, in der sich die Waschmaschine / Trockner, der Kühlschrank und die Mikrowelle befinden. Es gibt auch eine kleine Gästetoilette mit Waschbecken und Toilette und einen kleinen Balkon, der sich über die gesamte Wohnküche mit 2 Stühlen und einem Tisch erstreckt.

DRITTER STOCK
In der oberen Etage befindet sich das Hauptbadezimmer mit einer übergroßen Dusche und ein paar Stufen weiter das Schlafzimmer mit einem Queensize-Bett, einem kleinen Schrank und einer Kommode. Beide Räume wirken trotz der schrägen Decken geräumig.

Wonderful Host/ Great Location

The property is very secluded but also very close to restaurants and a Pharmacy. The apartment is very clean and well furnished, The owner lives Onsight and was very helpful and responsive. I would highly recommend this property to couples wanting a weekend get a way.

Comfortable & Convenient NOLA Stay

Our wonderful hosts have a cozy, clean, and very comfortable apartment. The bed is extremely comfortable, there are plenty of linens, the kitchen has everything you’d need if your cooking-in, and their welcoming snacks are irresistible! We walked to the WWII museum (15 min), to the garden district tour (15 minutes to Lafayette Cemetery), and took the street car to the French Quarter (5 minutes to stop). I highly recommend staying here!

Great place to stay and call home. It deserves 10 stars.

A great place to call "home". Bettine, the owner, is very helpful to our needs, and gave great advice on how to get around New Orleans. The apartment was immaculate and had everything we needed. I love the convenience of the location. It was close to public transportation and close the French Quarters. The neighborhood was very safe. I would go again with my family and I would receommend it to all my friends.

Perfect Spot for NO Visit

The property was impeccably maintained and managed by Bettine. The location was outstanding. We were able to walk to our destinations every day or take an affordable Lyft ride. Bettine was a warm and gracious host obviously invested in our comfort and enjoyment. Highly recommend and would stay again in a heartbeat. My husband is 6'2" and was able to navigate the tall side of the bedroom without issue.

Ideal NOLA Getaway (2 year anniversary trip)

Bettine was an excellent host. We had some pretty warm weather for December and she made sure the vents were adjusted and that we were a comfortable temperature. The apartment is in a safe and cozy location very close to public transit. The space was beautifully decorated and there were snacks and beverages provided upon our arrival. Check in was very easy and there was a space provided to store our luggage even after check out so that we didn’t have to take it around with us. We couldn’t be happier with our stay!

A Hidden Gem

My husband and I flew in for a short stay. Best place I've ever stayed in New Orleans!!! We have so many stories about failed experiences on and off for the last 20 years but we love New Orleans so much. This place was beyond our expectations. Nowhere Else I'd Rather Stay

Bettine was an amazing host, very helpful and accommodating. The apartment is spacious and has everything you'd ever need, I stayed for 6 weeks over the summer and I couldn't have been more comfortable or happy. Less than 2 blocks from St. Charles Ave (amazing restaurants and access to trolley), a park right down the street, less than a mile walk to Magazine St. (restaurants, shops, bars). There's access to everything you would need or want to visit. I HIGHLY recommend staying here, I'm sure you'll enjoy it as much as I have. The next time I travel to New Orleans, I will definitely be booking with Bettine again.

Perfect NOLA getaway

The apartment is ideal for a couple looking to enjoy everything New Orleans has to offer. Highly recommended! The property owner provided tons of information regarding access, restaurants, and things to do, well in advance of our trip. The apartment is at the back of a building up a flight of stairs. It is well appointed with top of the line appliances and nice TVs with Roku streaming built in. There were even thoughtful welcome snacks and beverages waiting in the apartment for us. The owner checked in via text a couple times to see if we needed anything, or needed any recommendations. She was excellent. The location is ideal for exploring New Orleans. You are right in the middle of a great residential neighborhood, with plenty of shopping and dining up and down nearby Magazine and St Charles Streets. You can walk to the streetcars on St Charles to explore the Garden District and Uptown. You're a mile and a half tops from the French Quarter, and even closer to the World War II Museum and the Warehouse district. Will definitely try to book this place again on our next trip.

There just are not enough positive things we can say. Bettine was so kind and welcoming. She was very knowledgeable about her city and she even had treats for my Birthday!! The apartment was just beautiful! Exactly as represented and then some. Immaculately clean and comfortable. We parked on the street right in front of our entry way and never drove again until we left. Just a short walk to the St. Charles street car that took us everywhere all week. Perfectly located between uptown and the Quarter. Even walking distance to Magazine. We will stay again and again. Already planning for October.

Perfect spot for a trip to New Orleans

Bettine and Micheal were the perfect host. The greeted us as we arrived and helped us in with our one too many bags :). The accommodations were great quietly positioned in the back of the house. She had some wine and local beers for us to enjoy when we arrived and the location was perfect for dining and coffee on Magazine was just a short walk away, We will definitely stay here again when we visit the city.

Truly a Wonderful VRBO Experience!

My wife and I have stayed in dozens of VRBO's both in the U.S. and internationally. Without question this was the most positive experience we've had with a VRBO host. Bettine could not have been more accommodating and helpful. First, we were greeted with bottles of wine, beer, sodas, water, seltzer waters, and Zapp's upon arrival. During our stay Bettine checked in on us via text multiple times to make sure our stay was going well. As for the apartment, it was spotlessly clean, roomy, well stocked with cooking items, linens, toiletries, etc. The location is fantastic with many eating/drinking locations within a few minute walk. Also it's relatively easy to walk downtown and the St. Charles streetcar line is less than a 5 minute walk. My wife and I cannot recommend this place enough! We look forward to our next stay in Bettine's apartment.

Home base for our wonderful trip!

The apartment was wonderful! Bettine was very responsive to any question and very helpful for things to do. The apartment was beautiful and close to the trolly line. Easy to find and parking was rather easy. So many things close on Magazine St and St Charles. And it's walking distance to the WW2 Myseum and the rest of the French Quarter. You'll be well looked after here!

Luxury in the lower garden district

Bettine is an absolute gem. She was so sweet, thoughtful and was easy to communicate with- she's a super host! The rental is in a great location and felt like we were in our own luxury home. It had all we needed (and more) was tastefully decorated with high end touches and it has beautiful light coming in. Absolutely recommend!
