Enjoy staying in the heart of Barbican, London with this lovely 1-bedroom apartment located on the 2nd floor of a secure residential building - NO LIFT. Self check-in from 3:00 PM by collecting keys at a nearby location. Wi-Fi is available, great for both work and leisure. A refundable damage deposit is required.
The Space:
Welcome to this lovely 1-bedroom apartment on the 2nd floor of a building without an elevator, perfectly situated on Whitecross Street in the heart of Barbican. The apartment is professionally cleaned before every arrival so you can settle in straight away.
Bedroom 1: double bed, Living Room: sofa bed. The apartment has a full bathroom.
The living area is a great space to unwind, with a smart tv (flat screen) and dining table and chairs.
The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need: full fridge, oven, microwave, stove, Dolce Gusto coffee machine, and electric kettle and toaster. A washing machine is available for your convenience. The flat has individual radiators for heating throughout the cooler months.

Check-in: From 3:00 PM via self check-in — simply collect the keys at a nearby location. If you’re arriving after 7:00 PM and need someone to meet you with the keys, please let us know at least 24 hours in advance. Late arrivals between 7:00–9:59 PM incur a £50 fee; 10:00 PM–12:59 AM is £90; after 1:00 AM is £120. We’re flexible when we can be — just give us a heads-up!

Damage deposit: A refundable damage deposit of £800 is required before arrival. It may be processed via a third-party payment provider such as Stripe, Swikly, or Flywire. The deposit is returned in full within 14 days of check-out following a standard inspection.
Max guests: 4 people (including children and infants). Please keep within this limit so everyone is comfortable.
Smoking: The apartment is non-smoking throughout.
Events: The apartment is a private home and not suitable for parties or events.

The area has a strong creative and artistic character, with excellent theatres, music venues, and galleries alongside brilliant pubs and farmers’ markets. Barbican, Old Street, and Angel underground stations provide fast connections to the City and central London, while Regents Canal towpaths offer peaceful walks to the east.

Management may occasionally need access to the property for inspection, maintenance or viewings (between 8:00 AM and 7:00 PM with reasonable notice). We had a wonderful time staying at this apartment! The place is new, clean, and beautifully decorated with a modern yet cozy design. The location is fantastic—quiet and peaceful, yet within walking distance to the city center. The host was incredibly friendly and responsive, always quick to reply to any questions we had. This property is in a great location, between Old Street on the Northern Line and Barbacan Station, very easy to walk to either of them. There are a lot of great eateries very close by.It is a small flat, up some narrow stairs, so you should be fit to stay here, especially when carrying up luggage.The kitchen is good, with a kettle, stove, microwave, fridge and freezer, stacked with fridge on top.The bathroom is very small with a really skinny shower. The towel rack is heated and seems to be automatically connected to the light switch. I loved having a warm towel when getting out of the shower. All in all, I would stay here again.

Comfortable stay
A lovely, modern apartment in a central and vibrant area. The space was cozy and stylish, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The wifi was fast, which was great for working, and the self check-in process was super easy.

Honestly, it was ok. Good communication prior to check in and check in process was clearly communicated (although it involves picking up keys from a corner shop which is around an 8 minute walk from the flat - not ideal if you have luggage). Amenities such as shampoo were provided, although no washing up liquid and there was only one loo roll which felt a little stingy! Flat was clean and spacious, location is excellent, handy for multiple tube stops and close to useful amenities like a supermarket. Beds were comfortable and shower had good water pressure. One downside is that only one set of keys were provided, which was inconvenient at times and I can imagine this being an issue for others since there potential for up to 4 people to stay here at once.
