Welcome to Pear Tree Lodge, a beautiful bungalow, lovingly named after the pear tree planted in the front garden. This hygge two-bedroom home in the heart of Kingsbridge, Devon, is just a stone's throw from the bustling town centre, picturesque estuary and close to many famous sandy beaches in South Devon.

Here at Your Devon Escape we are on hand to assist if need be but intend to leave you alone to enjoy your holiday.

A short walk along the estuary will bring you to the town centre. Enjoy Kingsbridge’s excellent range of independent shops, pubs, restaurants and cafés available at your fingertips. The town is also home to an independent cinema and Leisure Centre, ideal for a rainy day.

The popular towns of Dartmouth, Salcombe and Totnes are nearby, wonderful for exploring rain or shine. The many famous sandy beaches are located a short drive away. Pack your bucket and spade, or surfboard, and be sure to check out the beautiful Bigbury Beach, Bantham, and South Milton Sands.

Pear Tree Lodge is also a stone’s throw from the South West Coast Path. Simply wander down to the estuary to join the path and explore the delights of the South Devon coastline by foot.

At the heart of the bungalow is the kitchen diner, with comfortable seating for up to four guests. Fitted with modern appliances, including an electric oven and induction hob, it is the perfect space to chat with loved ones over a cup of tea or glass of bubbly as you create a delicious meal. French doors open onto a private garden and patio – ideal for dining alfresco on warm summer evenings with your favourite tipple in hand.

Pear Tree Lodge is home to two comfortable bedrooms. The master bedroom overlooks the private rear garden and features a comfortable double bed and large wardrobes. Enjoy your morning coffee and paper in bed whilst watching the children play. The second bedroom is a twin room. Located at the front of the property, it offers the perfect shared space for friends, family or colleagues.

The family bathroom is conveniently situated between the two bedrooms and boasts a large walk-in shower, perfect to relax in after a day of exploring the wonders of South Devon. There is a further bathroom in the utility room.

We do ask that dogs are not allowed in the bedrooms or on the furniture and you will need to bring your own dog towels, bed and bowls. Please pick up after your pet wherever whilst you are here.
