Take a dive into the Romanity that the Testaccio Market offers you, enjoying the colors and fragrances of the food stalls and the typical first courses: cacio e pepe, carbonara, gricia and amatriciana.
This Testaccio was the area of the Emporium of ancient Rome, where a few steps away, on the Tiber River, stood the Porto di Ripa Grande and the Via del Marmo (Via Marmorata) at the foot of the Aventine Hill, at the top of which you can enjoy one of the most suggestive views of Rome (from the Orange Garden), not to mention the exciting view of the Dome of St. Peter's Basilica from the Keyhole of the Priory of the Knights of Malta.
