You will sleep in a former artist\'s studio in Rome, among original arches, lived-in objects and silence in the city\'s historic heart. Studio d’Artista welcomes you in Via del Babuino, inside a quiet courtyard shielded from the noise but immersed in beauty. Once the workshop and home of a painter, it will become your inspiring hideaway.

On the ground floor, you will find a small living room with kitchenette, a niche for breakfast, and an essential bathroom. Upstairs, the mezzanine offers a cozy bed, custom-made wardrobes, and soft carpet underfoot. Smart TV, Wi-Fi, air conditioning and an art set are included: if you feel like it, leave a sketch behind. You’ll explore Rome on foot, step by step, in a slower rhythm. The experience starts the moment you cross the threshold.

We use sanitized and sanitized sheets and towels with antibacterial products.

Respecting our planet we have adopted soap and shower dispensers with quality natural products and to minimize waste we use refillable powder detergents for greater attention to the environment.

Cozy apartment very close to a number of Roman landmarks; easily walked everywhere. Check-in and communication w host was very easy. One caution, the shower is very small and may be challenging for taller people.

Wow! Studio D’Artista is perfectly quaint. It’s located in the middle of everything we wanted to visit. The shopping and restaurants close by were excellent. Kitchen was cute and perfect for us to make breakfast. Host was so nice. Really liked the separation bedroom and downstairs. Bed was great after exploring museums. We felt very safe with two door locked entry. People in the area were very nice and helpful to my wife and I. When roaming Rome, book D’Artista!

This is a lovely place and it has a lot of character. It was relatively clean but I felt the need to wear shoes in the place especially since the host wore them all over the inside downstairs.There are 2 downsides to the place.One is that if you are over 5’8” tall, you can’t stand up straight in the bedroom or in the shower.The other is that there is no way to block out light for sleeping. There is a partial curtain on one window and none on the frosted front door. Since it’s a loft, there is no door on the bedroom and it’s quite bright for sleeping.

As it is a loft created inside a historic building, some architectural features — such as the ceiling height in certain areas — are part of the original structure and are described in the listing so guests can have the right expectations.
