Located just a short walk from the unspoilt shingle beach at Pett Level, which is known for its rock pools, fossils and the mysterious 6,000 year old sunken forest which can be seen sometimes when the tide is out, making this property ideal for families and couples looking for an old fashioned seaside break, near to glorious countryside and dog-friendly beaches. Keen walkers and cyclists can explore the Rye Harbour Nature Reserve or Fairlight Country Park which are both within easy reach. The property is midway between the pretty medieval town of Rye, famous for its cobbled streets and smuggling stories or take a trip to nearby Hastings Old Town where there is a wealth of shops, cafes and restaurants, coupled with seaside attractions to keep the family entertained.

Step inside this wonderful light and airy split-level cottage into the lounge where a warm welcome awaits you. Curl up on the large comfy corner sofa in front of the wood burner, make yourself feel at home and enjoy a film on the Smart TV. There is also a small breakfast table to relax with a cup of coffee, or snug into the cocktail chairs with a good book. Walk through to the open-plan kitchen/diner which is a fantastic place for family entertaining. Enjoy preparing meals in the well-equipped kitchen which offers an fan-assisted oven and induction hob, combi microwave oven, Nespresso coffee machine (original capsules), a boiling tap, American style fridge/freezer with water dispenser, and a dishwasher, before dining at the large dining table with seating for everyone in front of the wood burner. The dining room offers an additional Smart TV and Bluetooth speaker for enjoying a spot of music whilst you eat. There is also a utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer. The cottage offers five bedrooms, two master double bedrooms, both with en-suite shower rooms with shower and WC, located at either end of the cottage, which is perfect for two families staying together. There are a further two double bedrooms and one twin bedroom, which share the bathroom with shower over bath and WC. There is also a small lobby area where you can use a computer screen with USB-C power for a laptop.

Heading outside there is a garden with a decked area with table and chairs. There is a further lawned area to the side of the property, and private parking for three cars.
Other things to note
There is parking for 3 cars on site. Anything further, we recommend parking on Sea Road.

The TVs in the living room and kitchen both have Chromecasts so you can stream your own Netflix, YouTube iPlayer etc from your own phones.
