Great location and host. Sabina was really communicative and allowed us to check in early after our red eye flight. Yes, the four flights of stairs aren’t the best, but it’s conveniently located and a great price for the large space. I’d definitely stay here again.

Wonderful place to stay. The location was perfect. The flat had everything we needed. I could never figure out if the washer/dryer dried, but that might be me not understanding European appliances. I was aware this is a walk-up, but the stairs are also narrow. We managed just fine, though. The check-in process wasn't perfect, and at one point, the water heater... stopped working. We eventually found a "reset" button and were back in business, but communication was a bit lacking. For the price, I would totally stay there again.

As the property is centrally located in a listed heritage building under London council regulations, no structural changes are permitted. For this reason, there is no lift in the building and access is via stairs. Regarding the hot water, the system provides continuous hot water as long as the boiler remains switched on. If it is accidentally turned off, it can usually be restored easily. In such cases, we always advise guests to contact us so we can provide clear instructions on how to reset or operate the appliances. We also appreciate your note regarding communication and will continue working to improve the guest experience.

Was not impressed with this place, nowhere on the description was there any word of stairs, we had to climb 4 floors of steps with luggage it also makes it seem like it was an apartment we all couldn't even spend time together like in a living room.

In response to your comments, we’ve made several upgrades. We’ve added a living room with a TV and dining area that also accommodates one person with a comfortable folding single sofa bed. Additionally, we’ve replaced the beds in all rooms with high-quality, very comfortable king-size beds to enhance your stay. Regarding the stairs — the apartment is located on the 3rd floor, and the building does not have a lift. We understand this may be a concern for some guests, especially those with mobility issues, and we will make sure this is clearly stated in the listing. That said, the location is in the heart of Central London, where most buildings offer incredible convenience and charm, but often lack elevators due to their historic nature. We recommend that guests with mobility concerns plan accordingly. Thank you again for helping us improve!

The apartment had suffered water damage from the unit above. We were not informed of this before our trip. Had we known, we would never have booked this property.In several places, the walls and ceilings in the bedrooms were dirty, blackened, and covered with bulges that looked very much like mold (even though the owner insisted it was not mold). At least we were able to keep the windows open to get fresh air; otherwise, we would not have stayed in the apartment. It was extremely disappointing and concerning. This property should not be rented until the water damage has been properly repaired.We tried to obtain compensation for this issue, but the owner refused, and VRBO did not offer us any reimbursement either.It is far too expensive for an apartment with water-damaged walls and what appears to be mold. You would honestly be better off staying in a hostel.On the positive side, there are indeed three separate bedrooms, which is the main reason we chose this property. All the rooms are separated—there is no open-plan living area. The hallway connecting the rooms is very narrow, and you also have to climb a very narrow staircase to reach the fourth floor.There is a hospital nearby, and we were constantly woken up at night by the sirens of emergency vehicles passing right outside. It is very noisy. We kept the windows open throughout our stay to make sure we had fresh air and also because the apartment does not have air conditioning.
